There is also a local guide on board, who will happily answer any questions you might have about Iceland. In each seat you willalso find a USB Charger, should you need to top up your phone or camera battery along the way.

The first stop is in ingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site listing and the founding place of the oldest existing parliament in the world. This is also where the huge tectonic plates of America and Eurasia drift a part and the rift valley is there before your eyes on the shores of Icelands biggest lake.

The next stop is at Geysir Hot Springs, the home of the original geyser and Icelands most famous natural attraction. Here the ground shakes and steaming hot water erupts magnificently into the sky from the famous Strokkur Geyser every few minutes.

Our final stop is at Gullfoss Waterfall, where you can go for an easy walk down to the edge of the waterfall, an unforgettable sight to behold. Here the powerful glacial river flows down 32 meters on two levels and into a narrow canyon with a thunderous roar.

We will make a minimum 30 minute stop at Geysir Hot Springs, Gullfoss Waterfall and ingvellir National Park. In Geysir & Gullfoss there are shops where you can buy food and drinks.

If you only have time to do one tour in Iceland, then this should be the one.

  • An awesome day visiting 3 natural wonders and learning so much about this amazing country. Reykjavík Sightseeing was a wonderful company to deal with and their guide Johanna very friendly and knowledgeable.

  • Took us to the 3 spectacular stops as promised. All good didnt really use the iPad commentary but a useful aid for some. Long enough at each stop. Though use the toilets before the last stop which was the waterfalls or you have to pay two hundred krona.
Well worth doing if youve never been to Iceland before. Only marred by the half an hour delay whilst waiting to pick up a passenger from the secret lagoon else it would have been 5 s

  • Beautiful sights. The tour guide was funny and had great energy. She also shared lots of great information. Bus trip was comfortable and we had enough time at each stop.

  • great tour, it rained and some stops could have been shorter.

  • Great trip, weather was bad so all the accesses to the National Park was closed. The guide, driver were brilliant and made the trip interesting, saw some magnificent sites, plenty of stops to eat and shop. Fully recommend this trip.

  • The guides were friendly and knowledgeable. I really appreciated the iPads provided while on the bus, as this allowed us to hear detailed information about every area of the circle.

My only complaint is that they didnt guide us during the actual tour. They gave us detailed information while on the bus, but when we arrived at different locations, the guides stayed on the bus. I noticed other tour groups had a guide with them as they explored areas. I found myself following other groups to learn more about the areas. Perhaps the express tour doesnt not include this type of service, but I did read this in the description.

  • Really good tour--great value. We had Johanna as a guide--pleasant, friendly, and funny. Every person received a tablet to read or listen to information about the area/Iceland during the drive--I was happy reading the information, but you can bring your own headsets can also buy a pair on the bus if needed/wanted. Johanna also joined us on some of the stops to provide more information, or we could wander on our own. Listed duration for the tour was 7.5 hours, but was more like 8 hours-- add in some extra time if making dinner reservations after the tour. Once back in Reykjavik, Johanna and the bus driver were more than happy to accommodate several requests to be let off at different stops than where people were originally picked up.

  • This was a good tour in that you get to see a lot in one day. Mostly I was disappointed with the guide. He was friendly but I found it a bit annoying when he would speak over the audio guide. Also there wasn't much in terms of interesting information. I feel like a guide really can make or break a tour. Additionally there was a stop to a bakery that felt forced and unnecessary. If the driver was due for a break, surely there is somewhere more interesting to stop. All in all not terrible.

  • This tour was amazing. Our driver Santa drove on the icy and sometimes narrow roads with ease. Our guide Siggi was very friendly, knowledgable, spoke excellent English and presented the tour in a lovely way. I felt he went over and above was could be expected from a guide. We learnt so much about Iceland, geologically, about the people, the history, flora and fauna, general facts and legends. My head is still buzzing with all the information. I can highly recommend this tour. It was one of the highlights of our stay in Iceland. Thank you to both Santa and Siggi
