This park is also one of the filming locations of Game of Thrones.
You will head back to Reykjavik in the afternoon to rest and prepare for the Northern Lights hunt in the evening.

Everything went well, but, on the Golden Circle part of the tour, the driver/guide gave the impression he just wanted to get home. He didn't accompany us on any of the stops or give much explanation as to what was what. I've done the Golden Circle twice and the previous time came with more explanation. However, the Northern Lights part was very different. The guides were local and went to extraordinary lengths to find the northern lights. We didn't find any and we were offered a no-cost re-book.
