Absolutely loved this trip with Hidden Iceland - a company I have used on two previous trips to Iceland and who just seem to get better and better. Prompt pick up, Simon our tour guide was friendly, knowledgeable and really interesting to listen to. We also very much enjoyed the 'hidden' aspect with a few extra stop offs to enjoy remarkable sights and experiences in Iceland. Really comfortable tour bus with a perfect number of people to chat to and share experiences with. The Secret Lagoon was a great way to start the day! We were also blessed with perfect weather for the tour. Highly recommend!
easy pick-up at the bus station. Sigrun Sol was a wonderful tour guide. Very knowledgeable, helpful, professional, and kind. Everyone on the tour was thrilled that the Secret Lagoon was the LAST stop on the long day's trip, rather than the first stop, as mentioned in the Tour details. Secret Lagoon would not be a good first stop at all. After a long day of sight-seeing, it is the ideal way to end the tour. Had plenty of time to eat at Fridheimar and did not feel rushed. Great place to eat. Had a good amount of time at the Geysir and Gulfoss as well. I feel like we could have had a better experience at Thingveiller and the tectonic plates. Didn't really get to absorb that all that much. Bus was clean and comfortable; WiFi. Not too many people on the tour, which was good...probably 12. Overall, for folks staying in Reykjavik, it is a great way to venture out of the city center and experience another wonderful location and iconic sites of Iceland.
Four thumbs up from my husband and I for an excellent tour on Monday 10/17 with Prokop. Amazing landscapes and geology and lots of engagement and information from our guide, Prokop. We felt well cared for and thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Carolyn and Barry Smith
Absolutely outstanding tour! Alberto was amazing. Very informative and funny. He provided so much insight into our destinations and on Iceland in general. I would highly recommend this tour. It was also a very small and friendly group.
It was a wonderful day, our guide Atli was extremely knowledgeable and shared the experience with us instead of just dropping us off and picking us up. We were a small group of 5, so it was very easy to get going after a hike. The secret lagoon is a must, natural and unspoiled. Go early as it gets busy around 11.
Seeing the greenhouses and hearing how they operate it was interesting, and lunch was great. Our guide Roncopf was very good and shared his knowledge of the history of Iceland. The erupting geysers, waterfalls and the UNESCO world heritage sites were beautiful. We had a great day!
We booked two tours with Hidden Iceland and were very happy with both. Beginning with our first contact with him, the tour operator Aaron provided excellent timely communication regarding booking details and answering any questions. Our tour guide, Max, for the Golden Circle tour was amazing. He was so friendly, took such good care of the group, and was a wealth of interesting knowledge. We felt quite fortunate that this tour with Max was our first activity during our seven days in Iceland. The tour itself went far beyond the typical Golden Circle tour - the inclusion of a stop at the Secret Lagoon and lunch at the Fridheimar Tomato Greenhouse was such a bonus. We picked this company because it had wonderful reviews and offered a small group experience, and they did not disappoint. We greatly enjoyed the entire day and would highly recommend this tour.
Hidden Iceland took me on an amazing Golden Circle tour. Very reasonably priced compared to other companies and plenty of extra selling points like included entry to a geothermal lagoon and lunch at an amazing tomato greenhouse with unlimited food and great bread. I had small 12 person group compared to the huge coaches most companies use and my guide Prokop was knowledgeable and friendly. I definitely recommend Hidden Iceland for tours in Iceland!
This is a top notch organization and the two tours we took, Golden Circle and South Coast, were fun and informative. We had a family group with ages ranging from 7 to 70 years old. Everyone enjoyed the places we went and the things we did. Huge thank you to Prokop, our guide, who was so kind and worked hard to give us a memorable trip. We were staying at a house outside Reykjavik and Prokop picked us up in a 12-person passenger van each morning. The van itself was comfortable and accommodating. Talk about going above and beyond: at the end of the first day Prokop took us to the grocery store and a liquor store because the ones close to our house would be closed by the time we returned. If we return to Iceland this will be our go-to tour company.
Einar was a fantastic tour guide. Minibus tour with only 7 other people. This was the Golden Circle tour and we loved it!!
