Unsafe , non responsive and falsely advertised. The weather in Iceland in January expectedly can be quite bad- this trip should have been cancelled and refunded before it began. We endured a 5 hour attempt to get up to the glacier on this tour, the jeep nearly capsized on numerous occasions we had to be towed out on numerous occasions and tow other vehicles on the tour on numerous occasions. When we eventually got to the base camp to do our snowmobiling another vehicle had capsized blocking the road. Our driver who was worried about the drive back down cancelled our snowmobiling experience saying it was too dangerous conditions - we were told to contact the office to get a refund. No refund or any response from the office - absolutely disgraceful for such an expensive trip which completely ruined our first day in Iceland.

Travelling back to Reykjavik in the back of a super truck after an amazing day! Erik, our driver and guide, shared loads of info with us along the way about Iceland and all its glory. We saw all of the wonders of the Golden Circle and experienced snowmobiling on the glacier - a fantastic experience. Would highly recommend!

So our day started with the pick up being 1 hour late. when we got into the bus, we were repeatedly told that we were on a schedule and we must stick to the timings, which is fair enough, but we were already 1 hour down. we continued on our journey to the glaciers for the snowmobiling part of the trip. on route we had 3 faults with the vehicle, we also then got stuck in the snow because the driver decided it would be a good idea to drive into deep snow off the road to et around another vehicle. So or time schedule was running very thin now. the snowmobiling was also cut short to a quick 10 mins in a circle. this was after a 30 min wait. So after this, the positive would be we would have made some time back to enjoy the views of the rest off the stops included in this trip. No. The engine then decided to fail. the vehicle was filled with toxic fumes and smoke from the burning engine and my wife is pregnant so by this point I'm a little bit fed up to say the least. so the time schedule was well and truly depleted by now. when we were eventually picked up by another vehicle, we were crammed in like cattle and had a 5 min stop at the waterfall. no time for pictures or to enjoy the scenery. 40 min stop to get something to eat at the next point. no time to enjoy the scenery again and then another 10 in stop at the national park. What made this worse was there was no apology and no refund offered. we paid a lot of money to sit in a broken vehicle.

This tour was near perfect, the tour guide was great, he was friendly, helpful and very informative about the locations we were visiting and Icelandic history. We visited in January, where the average daylight is about 4 hours. So time is tight, I do believe the first stop we could’ve had more time as it was quite a rush and you do have to walk a fair bit to the viewing site of the waterfall and if you were disabled or couldn’t walk that fast you would’ve struggled to have spent a decent amount of time taking in the views. Therefore, I can imagine when there’s more daylight available you’ll have longer but it’s just something to bear in mind. The Snowmobiling was excellent, the guides were informative and helpful. It provided us with an amazing overall experience. After doing the tour of southern Iceland the day before on a coach and then doing this in a Super Jeep we couldn’t help ourselves but to compare. The Jeep is quite tight when everyone is wearing coats and especially the overalls for the Snowmobiling and if you don’t like being on top of each other I would consider a coach; also the Jeep can be quite noisy. As cool as the Jeep is, if you’re not worried about that, I would say a coach is more of a pleasant journey. But overall the tour was well worth the money and we left feeling like it was one of our best experiences in Iceland.

Our family (including kids aged 11 and 12) had a really great day on this tour. The super jeep was a very cool way to travel and meant that the group size was really small. Our guide Einar was fantastic - full of information and made us all feel really relaxed. He was an excellent driver in the snowy conditions, and even when we had a flat tire, he dealt with it in 10 minutes and no drama. Also a brilliant music playlist in the jeep! The scenery was beautiful. We seemed to arrive at each stop before the bigger groups, and with the perfect light. The snowmobiling was definitely the highlight - great fun and simply stunning up there on the glacier.

Really enjoyed being on the glacier. The guides are kids, so some of the jokes/info was a bit.. childish. The ride from Reykjavik is a bit long.

The tour guide was fantastic… stopped at all the amazing places … word of advice … the gloves provided by the operator for the ski doo are useless …. My fingers are still numb… take good gloves and wear silk liners under them …. Good waking boots and thick socks are a must… a wonderful experience though Highly recommend
