Guests will gather at Mainichi Newspapers Building Front and departure from Umeda at 10am. This is not a quite early departure, so guests can have spare time in the morning and join us when all prepared.
First is to have Matsusaka beef lunch in Sukiyaki style as energetic start followed by afternoon sightseeing. Upon arrival at Yunoyama Onsen Station, guests will take a skywalk with Gozaisho Ropeway of 2161 meters long.
Get off at Yamagami Koen Station in Mt. Gozaisho, and watch the natural "Frozen Tree" and artificial "Frozen Waterfall". Frozen tree at Mt. Gozaisho is formed by the forces of nature, as the small water drops are blown onto the trees and get frozen. Over and over again, the ice particles will become bigger and form frozen tree. The latter is man-made when the temperature of the mountain peak is below freezing point (around end of December to end of February), and water is blown into mist to form a huge "ice-wall" like waterfall.
When night falls, guests will head to Nabana no Sato to see glittering winter Illumination for 2hours. Nabana no Sato is an entertainment facility known as the largest garden in Japan. Different flowers bloom all seasons, and the winter light up has been particularly captive featured by a different projection theme each year. Free admission pass forthe flower park "Begonia Garden" is included. Shopping for Kumamoto specialties at the stores is possible.
Return to Umeda around 9pm to end the trip.
