Overview

Enjoy a day of discovery and relaxation taking a cruise and visiting Gozo and the Blue Lagoon in Comino.

Know More about this tour

During this tour we will cruise along the Northern coast of Malta enjoying the views of St. Paul's Islands & Mellieha. Upon arrival at the sister island of Gozo we will board a Gozo Sightseeing Bus and we will visit the Capital City Victoria. Victoria is the name given in 1897 by the British government on the occasion of Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee, at the request of the Bishop of Malta, Mons. Sir Pietro Pace. However Gozitans still often refer to it by its old name, Rabat. The area around Victoria, situated on a hill near the centre of the island has been settled since Neolithic times. In the centre of Victoria lies The Cittadella, a historic fortified city. The Cittadella also called as The Citadel, is on Malta's tentative list of future World Heritage Sites by UNESCO, who describes it as a small fortified town. An old prison is located within the city, as are the Courts of Justice. Here you will stop for around 75 minutes at Qala Belveder.

In the afternoon, we head to the famous Blue Lagoon where you can spend time exploring the island and swimming in the tranquil turquoise water.

A complete waste of time, I advice you to opt for a land tour to Gozo as all we had is two stops, one to take a picture and another one to see the citadella only while having to walk for 7 minutes to reach it and pay 5 euros to see the cathedral. This tour took 9 hours in total, out of which only 1h.30 was spent in Gozo and another hour in Comino blue lagoon. As for the other 7 hours they were exhaustive on board of the boat where only hot dog were available to eat even though we pay for the food so I wished there were other options. Overall not worth it.

This was a fabulous day- we were picked up and taken to the boat - excellent crew very friendly and accommodating - small criticism of bus driver who took us back to hotel - he drove too fast and dangerously in my opinion with a small child and eight people in his minibus

It was an ok tour and honestly my complaints only have to do with the amount of people that they pack on to the boat the buses. We had a hard time finding seats on both. I was told to stand on the tour bus because there weren't enough seats so I could sit with my 3 year old. Luckily we found a few together on another bus but the people who came after us had to sit on the steps of the double decker bus. My kids were knocked around and even to the ground at one point, by people shoving and pushing trying to find seats! Comino and Gozo were beautiful but I'll never do another tour like this. They say open bar but with as many people that were on the boat you had to spend most of the time in line. The bathrooms were disgusting by the first stop from being used so much. Spend the extra money and get a private or smaller tour.

The pick up was 45 minutes late.
Once on the boat, the facility to sunbathe on the top deck cost extra money which is not stated in the description, I was willing to pay it - however, it was already full from the first stop!
The bar on the boat was not equipped for the hundreds of passengers on board. The 'all inc' boat trip, i got approx 3 drinks the entire day as the queues were so big.
It was not good value for money.
On arrival in gozo it was complete mayhem!! There was nobody taking charge or telling people where to go.
We had approx 50 minutes in Gozo, no time to actually do anything other than grab a stressed and harrassed bite to eat!
Back to the boat on a stressful bus journey.
The blue lagoon was the highlight of the day, however on the way back there was no space left on
the boat we had come on so we were decanted onto another boat.
The most organised part of the day was the trip back to the pick up location,
    WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

Good boat ride and trip around the island, with free time for the blue lagoon. Good day trip.

Of the 8 hour tour 6 hours was spent on the boat getting there, or a bus receiving generic commentary from a recording. An 1 hour was spent in a city that had enough to see and experience that it wound up be a rushed unguided gaggle as three buses all unloaded at the same place and at the same time. The same amount of time was provided on an island with very little to see and do. Overall, the tour company, Supreme Travel, left a lot to be desiredhowever Gozo, itself was interesting to see.

We have had a 1-hour break in the middle of Gozo, which was embarrassing as this 1-hour is too short for both lunch and visiting the old castle but too long for just exploring the small town.

In the morning, the bus driver picked us up more than 30 minutes late and no one contacted us. Later we were dropped off at the ferry and given our passes. There was no schedule or tour guide so we didnt really know what was going on. The ferry took about two hours to get to Gozo and along the way they pointed out a few landscape highlights. When we got to Gozo we were put on tour buses and no one told us what we were seeing or doing, there was an audio option but all of the headphone jacks were broken. The bus drove through parts of Gozo and dropped us off for an hour to see the city sights. Before this drinks were included but during this time we were supposed to tour and apparently find lunch since it wasnt provided even though the website says so. When we returned to board the bus it was 15 minutes late and just dropped us off at the ferry again. When we boarded the ferry it took us to Comino for only an hour. The tour said we would see the Blue Lagoon but instead they dropped us on the other side of the island and offered a cave tour for 10 Euro per person. After this we returned to the ferry and went back to the city.

I was pretty disappointed with this tour since there was no communication and they just herded everyone around. Most of the tour is sitting and you hardly got anytime to explore or see the sites. The next day I took the bus and bought tickets for the public ferry about 16 in total and I enjoyed the experience way more. I would never buy tickets for this tour again.
