You will be transported by minibus from Bratislava to the medieval town Hainburg an der Donau in Austria. It's a 30-minute drive.
There you will be briefed and get instructed on how to use your canoe.
This is the starting point of our beautiful descent.

Enjoy the views of the beautiful nature around you. You will stop on a beach under the ruins of the Devin castle. This is also the place of the infamous iron curtain where those who tried to flee communism were slaughtered. You will also discover the fauna and flora of the Danube, the Morava river confluence, feel the adrenaline while passing near cruise ships and even cross a border on the river!
Your guide will take care of the history and fun facts, don't hesitate to ask questions.

The last part of the descent takes you through the city center of Bratislava. Top sights include the Bratislava castle, St Martins cathedral, the UFO tower, the summer Magio beach, the Eurovea project, the 4 massive bridges of Bratislava etc You will definitely feel small cruising down through the largest river in Europe!

Overview
Supervised by our professional instructors, you will safely experience an exciting activity while learning about the history, culture and nature of the region.
Your adventure will start in the medieval town of Hainburg (in Austria) where you will be taught the techniques of water sailing. During the river descent, you will discover the top monuments of Bratislava, pass next to the ruins of the Devin castle and the infamous iron curtain where those who tried to flee communism were killed. You will also be taught about the fauna and flora of the Danube national park.
The river is fast enough to make the descent relaxing and enjoyable.
