This was a short vignette of the many outdoor attractions. In addition the guide was knowledgeable, kind and solicitous of some of our requests and/or shortcomings. The weather was cool, but accommodating; also, after quizzing the taxi driver, we felt that we had a short idea of the Icelandic life and culture.

Great tour and a very good guide - not only did he cover points of interest in full, but shared highlights of Icelandic history as well. Very in-depth, interesting and well told stories all along the way! We felt welcomed, taken good care of, all instructions about time on the site and when to be back in the was clear, bus was comfy and comfortable temperature inside, a guide was responding immediately to all requests. We were not rushed and had plenty of time to explore and take good pictures. Highly recommended!

Have to say, hats off to Jonas! The weather was brutal, on part of the tour we had the most intense rainfall I had ever experienced, with my waterproof coat going from grey to black and water literally pouring down our faces! His jolly and friendly demeanour made this trip, his enthusiasm just kept the spirits up. We saw a bit of Thingvellir, Geysir (inactive) and Strokkur which shoots water up to 25m, Gullfoss (waterfall) which was huge and Kerid Crater. Photos honestly don't do it justice, it's immense and it's eerie and beautiful. My husband and I were the knly ones who ventured all the way down, no one else wanted to get out of the minivan anymore. We luckily bumped into a girl who kindly took photos of us, it was fabulous. Jonas also treated us to mini stops as we were good with timekeeping! Really great guide!

We really enjoyed this tour. The guide was very engaging during the drives from different stops. He gave us great insight into the history of our destinations and kept the tour fun and enjoyable from start to finish. Beautiful places to visit- even in strong winds and rain!

Nice day trip. Not too long driving between stops. Informative and friendly guide. Good amount of time at each stop places to get food during the day. Worthwhile stops enjoying Iceland scenery

Thor was an excellent tour guide, informative and entertaining in equal measure. A good mix of sites to enjoy the best of the Golden Circle

This was a great tour as others had cancelled so 4 of us shared a minivan. We could not read the Joy to Iceland sign on van so almost missed your! Need to be outside on sidewalk waiting. Driver dropped us off at places that allowed us to see attraction then walk downhill to be picked up. The crater lake and Gullfoss waterfall are not to be missed! Saw diff parts of Iceland than reg large tour bus. Driver spoke English and also used a recording for more history/stories of the area.

Last Saturday (2nd October 2021) we were booked onto the Full-Day Small Group Golden Circle Waterfall Tour with Volcano Crater Lake £70.65 per person. This trip was absolutely sensational in so many ways. Memories made to last a lifetime with the most amazing guide, Makrem, who was absolutely fantastic from the moment he picked us up to the moment he delivered us back to our Hotel. Our tour was for 5 of us, my two friends and another couple and it really was the perfect and most memorable way to spend a day. The car was immaculate and Makrem was most attentive and most informative. The route meant that there was never a huge drive to the next destination and every sight you see is absolutely beautiful. The original reason I visited Iceland was to see the Northern Lights - which we didn't see - but this trip more than made up for that! I came home feeling like I had brought some of this country with such natural beauty home in my soul. If you do one trip while you are in Iceland - I recommend this one absolutely. It was quite simply perfect, from start to finish. Our Guides courtesy and warmth made the trip all the more special! If you can request him - I strongly advise you to do so. The Golden Circle is a place not to be missed and our superb guide Makrem made it such a memorable experience!
