  • gary and eric were great tour guides-- we went to 4 of the best snorkle sites on the island-- they found conch and fixed delicious salad and caught huge stingrays for us to hold and take pics with --they made sure were safe and saw alot of colorful reef fish--best snorkle trip ever !

  • Grand Turk is a great place to snorkel and we were really looking forward to going back there. Unfortunately I chose this excursion. The boat was small which would have been fine we prefer small group excursions but the boat was very beat up and the cushions provided no padding. We spent very little time snorkeling the wall and instead took a trip to see the stingrays. The trip to the island and back was horrific. We constantly got sprayed by water. Once at the island, instead of interacting with the stingrays, the boat captain made conch salad and offered us hot rum punch. We never entered the water to interact with the stingrays. The boat captain was a smoker and the ladders to get on and off the boat were extremely hard to use. Chose a different excursion.

  • Great excursion Grand Turk Supreme Snorkeling. Weather did not cooperate that day but guides did all they could to make excursion great. Loved the stingrays. Snorkeling was great and guides were good at pointing things out. Have snorkeled quite a bit. Highly recommend. And would do same excursion again if in Grand Turk.

  • The other folks that reserved this excursion cancelled so the boat type was changed. While the original boat we were supposed to go on was no Yacht, it was in comparison to the little beat up speed boat we ended up going on. Given the waves we ended up banging over to get to our destinations, a boat cushion or two wouldn't have hurt. The boat operator was just that, definitely not a guide. While the areas we visited were pretty neat, it bothered me that every boat that was bringing folks to the reef were dropping an anchor over into the reef. It wouldn't hurt if someone invested in some anchor buoys. Bottom line, the time in the water was short but enjoyable, the time out of the water not so much.

  • We had an excellent time with Captains Gary and Eric! We saw beautiful fish and a shark at the coral reef, the incredible 7,000ft drop at the Amazing Wall, and had loads of fun with the stingrays. Gary caught a stingray and let us pet and hold him, and they made a delicious conch salad from freshly caught queen conch in the area. This tour was exactly as advertised, with lots of fun and excitement. The snorkeling off Grand Turk is wonderful, and these captains really know what they're doing. We loved our tour!

  • Our entire family enjoyed this excursion. We were all beginners at snorkeling but caught on quickly after a few instructions from our guide, Gary. The day we went, the waves were a bit rough and it was cold going to Gibbs Cay to see the stingrays. I would suggest bringing a second towel or sweater it will get soaked but you will dry on the island. My most vivid memory will be swimming beside the barracuda that followed our group the whole time.

  • What an amazing excursion and team Eddie, Eric and Gary were wonderful. We highly recommend that trip.

  • Gary and Captain F. were super! Snorkeled in several places and Gary even swam with us, leading the way. Unfortunately there were not a lot of fish to see in any of the locations, but Gary had food with him so then they came in droves. Beautiful boat ride to the Island and Captain F. made fresh salad with the Conch that Gary dove for. Also picked up a large Stingray so we could each touch it and have a massage! Wonderful day - highly recommend!!!

  • Perhaps my expectations for this trip were too high, but I found it disappointing compared to other snorkel trips I've been on. Some pros and cons are listed below.

    - The Wall was indeed great to see and very interesting with a fair bit of different types of coral and fish. The water is extremely clear and beautiful.
    - The staff were very friendly and made an effort to converse with the guests.
    - The provide flippers in addition to a snorkel and mask which makes swimming much easier and don't require you to inflate your life vest if you're an experienced snorkeler.
    - The staff was able to capture a stingray at the last stop and hold it for guests to pet and take photos with, which was a big hit.

    - The captains didn't shut off the propeller when some other guests were getting back on the boat despite the fact that the ladder was right next to it. That appeared very unsafe and was quite alarming.
    - The directions for locating the tour staff after exiting the cruise boat were very clear but ultimately unhelpful. We ended up having to ask two different tour operators where to find Exclusive Escapes.
    - The snorkel equipment provided mask and snorkel were possibly the worst I've ever used. The mask was leaky and the snorkel was dirty I think there might have even been a hole in it.
    - While the boat is indeed a catamaran it was smaller and not in as good a condition as I was expecting the ladder used for entering and exiting the water was rusty and sharp and part of the boat's canopy actually broke and flew off mid-trip.
    - My expectations weren't terribly high for the rum punch but the rum was clearly of extremely poor quality and tasted like rubbing alcohol.
    - We spent too much time at the last stop, a small island with an abundance of stingrays in the water. 90 minutes was about twice as much time as was needed or enjoyable as there wasn't much shade on the island for guests looking for a respite form the sun.
    - The utensils the staff used to prepare the conch salad did not seem to be particularly clean, though no one got sick to my knowledge..

Because of rough water we were only able to make two snorkel stops. Perhaps I'd have a better review had we been able to do more actual snorkeling.

I would not hesitate to recommend this trip to anyone who is going to Grand Turk. I found it is in your best interest to book the excursion through Trip Advisor/Viator. The ship tours are over-crowded and you don't get the individual attention like you do with EXCLUSIVE ESCAPES.

I have been on eleven cruises and this snorkeling excursion in Grand Turk was the BEST EVER!! Captain Eric and Captain Anthony were GREAT! They made it such an enjoyable experience, I can't say enough about our two Captains. We were not rushed and got to take our time to enjoy the reefs, feeding the fish, diving for conch, and hanging out with the stingrays.

Diving for conch was fun and we had lots of fun. The fresh conch salad was very compliments to the chef, Captain Eric.

Don't hesitate to use EXCLUSIVE ESCAPES to book your next excursion to BEAUTIFUL Grand Turk, you will not be disappointed AND you will create memories that will last a lifetime...

A special thank you goes out to Faith Anne for coordinating our trip. EXCLUSIVE ESCAPES is a top- of-the-line company!
