Terrible! They showed up late. Cheese fondue was provided with no information or demonstration of how its made. Our Sample Swiss wines in the Lavaux Vineyards was actually a plastic cup of white wine served in a place the bus parked along the road near the vineyards, but we never went to any vineyards at all. On our way back the bus left us outside the city and we had to find our way back to our pick up point by ourselves. It took 02 trains to get back at the end. We were in our honeymoon and it was an awful day. Do not recommend to anyone!

Cheese fondue was provided with no info/demonstration of how its made. 1 Wine glass was given with the cheese and again later in the parking lot of the wine region. Again no experience about how its made/tasting. Only 2 bottles with crisps in the parking lot beside the train station. Panoramic train was nice, and the chocolate experience was very good. Would not recommend this tour.

Very disappointed with the tour. The tour company was KeyTours. It began with me having to send a note the day before the tour to confirm pick and drop off. They showed up half hour late and told me because the traffic will be bad on the way back from the tour they are going to drop me at the bus station. The tour of the chocolate factory was fine. The stop at the cheese factory involved serving a couple of pieces of cheese and meet and a cheese fondue. We sat down to eat the food and they put on a video to learn about gruyere cheese. Not one person from the cheese farm spoke to us. Personally I can go on the internet and learn how cheese is made. Then we proceeded to take the golden train we thought on the way to the vineyards. The tour guide told us the bus was too big to get Down The small roadies to go to a vineyard so we stopped at a little train Station in Montreaux and she handed us a plastic cup of white wine. The reason we didn't go to a vineyard was because they had to switch to a larger coach because of too many people. I find this very misleading as this was my primary purpose for me was to go to a vineyard. At the end of the tour they dropped me at the outskirts of Lausanne and I had to find my way back to my pick up point because the tour guide thought the traffics would be too bad for the Geneva tourists to wait. Very poor service. I will not book with this company again .

This tour was perfectly paced, and is worth the cost for the bus ride through the countryside alone! The chocolate factory tour was organized and generous I maybe ate a bit too much chocolate, actually. My husband loved the visit to the house where they make traditional cheese. Though it says lunch isn't included on this tour, the spread they provided us was generous, and we all left with full bellies. The panoramic train is as breathtaking as it sounds. Snag a seat on the left side of the train for the best views. My favorite part about this tour was that there was plenty of down time--I don't like it when every second of a day is programmed. We enjoyed a little over an hour to do as we pleased in the village of Gruyeres, and the glass of wine in the Lavaux vineyard with plenty of photo op time was a perfect ending to the day. Hector, our guide, was fluent in at least! three languages, and provided lots of interesting information. Highly recommend this tour!
