Overview
After pickup from your Marrakech hotel, travel east in a minivan through rural Morocco to the Ouzoud Falls. On arrival, walk through olive groves owned by generations of Berber farmers and descend to the gorge below the waterfalls. At the base, stroll by the river and marvel at the three-tiered falls, which cascade into a pool. Take photos and, if you wish, enjoy a swim in the cool waters and an optional boat ride (own expense) close to the cascades to feel the spray. Afterward, step ashore and visit one of the cafes or restaurants overlooking the river for lunch (own expense). Finally, climb the steps back to the top. Belle découverte des cascades d’Ouzoud, Grâce à Jawad, nous avons passé une superbe journée à Ouzoud au départ de Marrakech. Organisation au top du top. Mouloud, un guide très accueillant nous attendait sur place pour la visite. Nous avons mangé une bonne tajine sur une terrasse avec une vue spectaculaire sur les cascades. Je vous recommande Jawad pour vos excursions.

Escursione meravigliosa, da fare assolutamente. Tour semplicemente bellissimo con guida che parlava in tutte le lingue e con crociera verso le cascate. Tour guide was exceptional. Walking down to the bottom of the waterfall wasn’t difficult. We chose to take the boat ride. We were taken to the other side of the waterfall and walked up several stairs to a restaurant for lunch. Enjoyed feeding the monkeys as well. A nice day trip.
