Effortless pick up from the cruise ship, Maria our guide was so friendly, very informative and to the point.
Arrived at the locations before the big cruise ship groups got there which was the best.
An intimate group made it nice.
Highly reccomend! -
this tour was supposed to beat the crowds by getting there before the crowds. that might of happened if our guide would of gone straight up to acropolis but she kept stopping along the way up to give us info .very crowded by then.
-
Our guide and driver were excellent. Moving us through the crowds very well. Our tour guide, a very knowledgeable lady was great. She sat us in the shade and told us history and what to look at before releasing us on our own to view the historic sites. Also the driver was very safe an excellent as well.
-
Just a fabulous tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable and pointed out unknown facts for many of the sites we visited. Excellent. Highly recommend.

The tour guide was late [15/20 minutes] arriving at the terminal and this did cause some concern and frustration. After arriving and getting the tour started, everything went fine. The guide gave very detailed information about the area and was concerned about our safety while walking the various areas. She quickly took us to the main locations to avoid crowds and gave us plenty of touring time with easy to locate meeting locations. In addition, she gave suggestions for eating and private touring. This tour turned out to be excellent - I would have rated it 5 stars; however, the frustration in the beginning was a small issue.

This was our first trip to Athens. The tour guide was very good. She gave us lots of information on the history of Athens and Greece. Kudos also to the bus driver. The traffic was crazy, and he had to maneuver through some tight streets. We had to switch around our itinerary because of crowds, so we appreciated our guide thinking outside the box to still get us to see everything. Great day!

Thank you Viator for an amazing experience. We had a small group which made it the whole experience a lot better. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and nice.

This was a great way to see the sights of Athens without waiting in the ridiculous line!! The bus picked us up right from the cruise line I would recommend calling the company because our email said to meet at 8, but when we got there she said it was supposed to be 7:30. Then we made the drive to the Parthenon area where we skipped a massive line. We then walked to the town of Plakka with a great lunch and lots of shopping. It was a good amount of time to eat and mosey around a bit. The food we had that day was one of my favorites. Then we walked to the Agora. Our guide was great through all of this with tons of interesting information. Some guides just ramble about nothing, but ours was awesome and super interesting. The bus then picked us up and took us back. Let me emphasize how massive of a line we skipped, please do this!

Our guide was fabulous and navigated our group, avoiding the crowds. It was certainly worth the time and money!

Our tour of Athens was supposed to be for a small group. With 28 people I don't consider this a small group. This was too much for 1 tour guide and very soon people were being lost or could not get close enough with the crowds that the tour was essentially self guided. Two from our group gave up and left the tour using a taxi to get back to the boat. If they had another guide to split into 2 groups of 14 it would have worked.
