Ivan was such an amazing tour guide! He was personable, knowledgeable, and shared lots of information about Michelangelo’s sculptures and his life, about the Musical Museum instruments, and the other artwork that spanned the centuries. He had a good sense of humor as well and made the tour quite enjoyable! It was just a small group of three plus Ivan - so it made it easy to hear him in a crowded space (I’m hard of hearing in crowded places!). Highly recommend Ivan and this tour!

Small gallery but this is must see when in Florence. Michelangelo’s ‘David’ sculpture was breathtaking. We had a great tour guide, Tom. The tour was very informative and Tom did an excellent job explaining the art. Our last stop was David and we spent a lot of time viewing it, walked around it and saw the sculpture from several angles while he provided details and background. The skip the line is a plus. We attended the 9:15am tour so recommend going earlier in the day as we noticed the Accademia was beginning to get a little crowded. Overall it was a great experience!

Martina was great at explaining. I learnt a lot on Florence and the renaissance. I came back home and did some YouTubing and will continue to learn more about this great city. Thanks Martina, it was a pleasure meeting you and keep up the good work. Hope to come back soon :)

This was a short and sweet tour that highlighted what it needed to but didn't go overboard. Our guide, Ivano, was knowledgeable and quite funny as well, which we really enjoyed!

This is a great tour and we had a wonderful tour guide! We were not in Florence long, so we were thankful to book this tour to skip the long line outside and see the David and many other beautiful works of art. Our guide provide great history of Florence and the art we saw, highlighting easily overlooked details we would have never noticed on our own, and answer all our questions. I highly recommend this tour and am so glad we took it!

What an amazing opportunity to see some of the works of Michelangelo, especially the sculpture of David. I had visited before, but our tour guide Riccardo Lisi brought the experience to life, explaining how the sculpture came to be, the story behind the block of marble that was used and the amazing details Michelangelo included from his studies of anatomy. The stories about Michelangelo himself also contributed to what was an unforgettable experience.

This experience was a 5 out of 5! Martina was a great guide and very knowledgeable in art history, especially since she is studying art history. She was very kind and made it easy to find her in front of the museum. She was carrying a keys of Italy sign. The group was also small (only 4 of us) so the tour felt very intimate. In addition, she grabbed our tickets from the ticket office for us and guided us through the line to get it. I would definitely recommend this tour to someone if they’re looking for a more intimate tour of the Accademia Gallery.
