We thought we got lucky because it was just us in the tour! Our guide was neither enthusiastic nor knowledgeable - as most walking tour guides we’ve had in major cities. She gave minimal or trivial information. She walked quietly between the few sights, very slowly as though on a promenade, we’d wait for her since she was constantly on her phone, and was taking time to take her own photos of sceneries. We tried to prompt her with questions. It was such a waste of our time. I didn’t tip for the first time. (I am usually generous for jobs well done.)

Nuria was an excellent, knowledgeable guide and we learnt a lot. Unfortunately the booking process was a bit chaotic and unsatisfactory.

Beatrice was absolutely fantastic! Besides being so friendly, she was so knowledgeable about the history and all of the locations we went to, giving us great suggestions as well as insight into Madrid now and in the past! She really enjoys her work and demonstrates it with much enthusiasm! She is a true professional! She would have continued with us as long as we wanted! We were very fortunate to have her as our guide! The Royal Palace was amazing and, luckily, because we went there first, it was still early and we beat the crowd. Madrid is definitely a walkable City, and by walking, you really have a chance to become acquainted with this great place!

Cecilia our tour guide so great. She know all history for all different place we go. For the tour we think we enter in some places we see, but that's ok.

This was a great intro to Madrid. We were collected on time however there was an initial misunderstanding with our tour guide. She believed we were only doing the historical walking tour however I had also booked a skip the line guided tour of the Palace. It eventually got sorted so all good. Lots of walking involved but we covered a lot - visiting monuments and places of interest. The tour concluded at the royal palace. We met our second guide Elias who was absolutely sensational. For us this was the highlight of the tour. If you do nothing else in Madrid you must see the palace!! Highly recommend. Visited on 23 September.
