Choose between two available departure times, either beginning your experience at Drumboddsstadir rafting base camp in the afternoon, or arrange for pickup from your hotel in Reykjavik around noon.

After arriving at Drumboddsstadir base camp, a charming farm near the popular Golden Circle route, meet your certified guides who will provide you with all the necessary gear for your rafting adventure. Once you're geared up, jump on a bus which will take you to Hvita River for a 2-hour rafting excursion.

Rafting down the Hvt River is a magnificent way to enjoy the Icelandic nature in a different way. Cruise down the great glacier river running all the way from Langjkull glacier, Icelands second biggest glacier, and take in the incomparable surroundings that the roaring river has created over the years, with Brarhl canyon as one of the highlights. The canyon has grand rock formations and portholes, and you can see how the water has sculptured the breccia walls.

After the rafting, you will return to the base camp for a quick shower and sauna (optional) before getting a history lesson in Icelandic beer culture during a localtasting featuring four local favorites.
