Know More about this tour

After making your own way to the Sheraton Keauhou Resort on Keauhou Bay, your hosts greet you with a shell lei and show you to your table, which is situated in the spacious gardens outside the hotel. Take in views of the ocean, framed by palm trees, as you sip a drink participate in preliminary activities.

The luau dinner buffetincludes a variety of Hawaiian-style dishes featuring fresh seafood, meat and vegetable dishes that shine with tropical flavors. Try specialties such as Hawaiian ahi poke, salted island fish, kalua pork and pineapple-soy glazed beef, then top it off with mouth-watering desserts like Kona coffee chocolate cake and pineapple upside-down cake.

At the end of your meal, sit back and be transported by a spectacular Polynesian show. A variety of dancers perform traditional hula, fire dancing and other feats accompanied by excellent live music and singing. During the performance, you hear stories of the battle of Kuamoo, the birth of the Hawaiian King Kamehameha III and surfing tales from He'eia Bay. Food was amazing, show was outstanding, and having the rainbow before sunset was absolutely spectacular!! We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Truly a must do when visiting the island.

The luau was lovely and we really enjoyed ourselves once settled. They do a wonderful job. However, Viator didn’t tell them we had paid for a Skip the Line so it was awkward as the venue didn’t plan for seating for us. They accommodated us so good on them but Viator... not good enough!

I was expecting to skip the line and I did not get to at all. I cannot really judge this because the way the seating was set up I could not see with everyone putting up phones to tape. I found that this was not laid out well for everyone to enjoy this event. I felt the island dancing was beautiful from what I could see but could not see much. I will not do this one again.

My friend and I had a great time at the luau. The dancing was great and the food was wonderful! The drinks were free, but the Mai Tai that I got was pretty flavorless. Also, prepare yourself for sitting out in the direct sun until the sun goes down. We were also eaten alive by mosquitoes, so I advise spraying some bug spray before heading out. Overall, I had a great time, and would heartily recommend this event.

I have attended Luau's previously and this was a big disappointment. As soon as we got through registration, they offered us a flower lei for 10 or a rock necklace for free. In my past experience the lie was for free. When we eventually got to the food, it was poor although you could have as much as you wanted, but who wants more of this!
I was hoping the entertainment would make me feel better, but we had only 3 ladies and 3 men dancers. My guess is only 1 of the ladies were actually a native although they were all very pretty. And I don't believe they ever did a traditional hula dance.
So the 3 hour celebration ended after 2 hours and 20 minutes, which was long enough.

The food was good and the performances even better. Great evening

    Great performance.

Just touristy enough, just culturally respectful enough. No pig ceremony, but not particularly missed. MC Auntie Tutu was warm and funny and kept things moving, musicians are very talented, and the dancers are really excellent.

This luau would have been great except that it rained and the organizers did not seem at all prepared. They handed out towels to be used for cover and later found two tents for people to stand under. Eventually the rain stopped and there was a (good) performance but not the stated 3.5 hours.

It was a very short performance and was not value for money.....
