Know More about this tour

At the appointed time (varies seasonally), make your way to Munich's Marienplatz to meet your guide and begin this 3.5-hour insider's look at the city's world-famous beer halls and breweries.

Start offby visiting one of Munichs best old beer halls; a favorite among locals and famous for its lager, which still served from a wood barrel. Fortified by your first beer, make your way to one of Munichs breweries to learn about the Bavarian brewing process. Sip some of the offered beers, and have the opportunity to purchase dinner in the brewery.

Learn why beer is good for your health, the length monks went to in order to satisfy their thirst during Lent, where and how beer was first made thousands of years ago, how to fully appreciate the taste of beer, what the beer purity law means, andmore. End the evening at the worlds most famous beer hall: the Hofbruhaus. Try a wheat beer (Weissbier) and a lager, which rangein strength from 5% to 8% alcohol; see if you can conquer a mass (one liter of beer); or try some of the Hofbruhaus' light or dark house beer.

We enjoyed the tour. Our tour guide did an awesome job, was professional and made the tour a fun experience. If I 'm back in Munich, I will certainly do that again. If we can get the same guide.

Absolutely Awful. 39 guests to 1 guide. Everything took so long that we left after first stop. We were among multiple others left early too. This is an absolute skip at best and could even be considered a scam.

It was very unorganized and not what I was expecting. We had a ten minute walk to a “pub” and then another beer hall. Couldn’t have gotten anything closer?

Die Tour hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Interessant war die Brauerei Führung und auch das Hintergrundwissen des Guides war ausgezeichnet.

ishTour October 2022 OK but not without significant issues. Despite 6 people being missing the guide left the meeting place about 30s early. When in fact they should have waited an extra five minutes as there were transport problems and the square was very busy. He didn't even try calling the missing six clients. Luckily they managed to catch up but that isn't really how to handle the tour. Perhaps more worrying was that the guide appeared to be either high or drunk. It was hard to tell. Their English was good but they kept losing their place in the talk and they seem to struggle walking. The brewery tour is more of a visit to a microbrewery. I've been to brewery/winery/distillery tours all over the world and this was the shortest and the worst. The tour was to finish in a famous beer garden, which it did but as no tables were booked we could actually sit down and have a drink there! All in all disappointing. You would be better off just doing this yourself and spending the money on the excellent tour of the Bayern Munich stadium.

We originally took the wrong train towards the meeting point in the square and were late. The leader of the next tour helped us to find our tour so that we were able to rejoin. Very accommodating, interesting history, easy to understand English speaking guide

The guide, Michael was very knowledgeable about the subject of beer, it’s history in Munich. A 2 1/2 tour turned out to be a 5 hour tour due to the fun group and Michael’s enthusiasm.

Mr. Wolfgang, the tour guide, was detailed in his explanation about beer brewing. He gave us ample of time to understand and indulge in beers provided.

We had a great brewery tour and beer tasting evening with our guide Noel who was knowledgeable, entertaining and very friendly. We learned a lot about the beer heritage of Munich and Bavaria, and enjoyed ourselves in the process. I can definitely recommend this tour.
