Enjoy the stories of 'Little Paris' in a 2-3 hour bike tour.

In the decades since the 89 Revolution, Bucharest capital city has reinvented itself as a confident and cosmopolitan capital. It has developed a unique personality which has given rise to its own special way of doing things. With chatty locals, great museums, green areas or forgotten industrial places, amazing cafs and restaurants and the overwhelming Peoples Palace, we prepare you for a great experience by bike.

We have seen the city is changing and progressing, from an old communist town with infrastructure and social problems to a lively European city. We know how much our tourists appreciate to discover the architectural influences, the green quiet areas, the shadows of terraces or the unique stories of this part of Europe. So we have prepared a special tour by bike to show you the old and the new, the good and the bad, the historical and the modern part of the city.

Bucharest is a booming city nowadays that was also known as the little Paris. In fact today it has become a very interesting mixture of old and modern that has little to do with its initial reputation. Bucharest is the native place to many art and crafts galleries, antique and beautiful shops and coffee-houses. It is known for its broad, tree-line boulevards, glorious Belle Epoque buildings. We hope you will have a fascinating bike tour!

The tour was fantastic. Easy biking, wonderful guide. For those who enjoy biking, and those who who are even moderately fit (it is an easy, relaxed day), I would recommend this as one of your first activities. It will give you a great introduction to the city and to the Romanian people and culture. Most importantly, it is fun. Highly recommended. Regarding the COVID questions, a couple of comments. There were only three of us, the guide, my friend and myself. We are all vaccinated. The tour never went inside. Romania is a very safe country, for COVID and otherwise, and at no point did my friend or I feel uncomfortable about the COVID protocols.

Mugurel was a wonderful guide around Bucharest. Having grown up in the city, he knows everything about the history and recent political events, but tailors the info for our interests. Warm, friendly and humorous, we felt like we made a new friend!

We had a great half day tour of the city of Bucharest with Oana. She is passionate about biking and has a deep love for her country. She is knowledgeable and shares from her heart, her life experiences in Romania. We had two couples on her tour. She kept us on bike lanes safe from traffic. Don’t miss out on a chance to tour with Oana and her colleagues
