  • We waited at pick up point at 12:30pm no one showed I had to call office and was told someone would come. we got picked up by City bus tour, traveled around and picked up more people, then finally ended up back at main tour center office. We then had to stand in line to get ticket for Airboat tour plus I had to pay another 6 for park entrance which was not disclosed when I booked the tour. Then we had to stand out in the street to wait for another bus. After boarding the bus we then proceeded to other pick up locations. We arrived at Gator park at 3:00pm we then stood in line for over 20 min's before boarding the airboat we was back on bus at 5:00pm. We spent more time waiting around and time on the bus than anything else needless to say, the 1/2 day tour was pretty pathetic and I would not recommend Viator to anyone.

  • Pick up was punctual and the Everglades park was picturesque. Never saw animals in the wild but the airboat ride was enjoyable. Staff in the souvenir/food shop gave the impression that they'd rather be somewhere else and were borderline rude. Am glad, however, that I had the chance to ride through the Everglades.

  • Although we were picked up at our hotel as promised it was late and we were late leaving the main office. Apparently there was a problem with the bus our driver usually drove and he was unfamiliar with the bus he was driving. The PA system didn't work so there was no ongoing commentary of the area we were passing through although he did try to make up for this by telling us what we would be seeing as we traveled our route. I specifically chose this tour over several others as it stated we would be out on the air boat 45 minutes. As it turned out it wasn't even a half hour. We did see a few alligators, a turtle and local birds. The best part was the presentation by the gentleman regarding alligators, crocodiles and their habitat, threat to their habitat.
We used Viator almost exclusively in Europe and were very pleased with their excursions. I won't pass judgement based on this one excursion but I will be more careful and ask more questions before booking with Viator again.

  • I would rent a car and drive to Everglades. Terrible old bus - no AC -the bus broke Down on our way home. There was three alligators in the hide.

  • The tour conveys that they pick you up at your hotel, however note that they do not say that they bring you back. In this case, most of the Most Miami Beach Hotels are on either Collins Avenue or Ocean Drive. They run their return bus down Washington Avenue and the expectation is to walk a block or two back to your hotel. I am glad that we did not have someone in our group that had difficulty with this unexpected situation. This should be disclosed.

Overall, the tour was ok with only the bus driver and no other onsite staff. With full buses of 50 patrons, this should not be the case. It was an inexpensive excursion that functioned as such.

  • Airboat tour and the show were pretty cool. Got to see an alligator up close at both. There wasn't really much to do at the gift shop, so we could have probably shortened the trip by 30 minutes to an hour.
