Morning at 0900 hrs we will pick you from your hotel and process for half day city tour of Chennai, you will visit Fort St. George, a British trading post and powerful bastion. We then visit the 16th-century Portuguese Cathedral of St. Thomas, in which the remains of the apostle St. Thomas, who is said to have come to India in 52 AD, are buried. We drive past the Madras University built in Indo-Saracenic style, the 5 km long stretch of the Marina Beach, a lovely esplanade by the sea, and the National Museum of Chennai.
