Overview

The Cape Point tour is a smorgasbord of visual feasting that offers the entire Cape Peninsula. From the bustling V&A Waterfront, you will take off over the icy blue waters of the Atlantic.

On your left, Table Mountain and the Twelve Apostles mountain range will rise against the shoreline, with Clifton and Camps Bay below. Youll soar over Hout Bay, Noordhoek and Kommetjie, and around Cape Point.

Returning along False Bay, youll see historic Simons Town, Fish Hoek and Muizenberg, the fine wine estates of Constantia and the cosmopolitan patchworks of Cape Towns CBD, before landing back at the V&A Waterfront.

The False Bay coast is renowned for its impressive beaches and Muizenberg beach is a firm favourite for tourists and locals alike. The small suburb is densely packed with historical buildings such as the SA Police Museum and Het Posthuys, which date back to mid-1700. Located a mere 20 minutes away from the City Bowl, the affluent suburb of Constantia is known for its secluded, country-like ambiance and the vineyards boast some of the finest examples of Cape Dutch homesteads. Well-known farm estates that can be found in the area include Klein Constantia, Buitenverwachting, Uitsig, Steenberg and Groot Constantia, the estate originally owned by Simon van der Stel. Additionally, the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens and the beaches of False Bay are a stone throw away.

We are no longer allowed to fly over the top of Table Mountain as it is has been designated as part of a national park and is a protected area.

If possible, please inform us of your combined passenger weights when making your booking. All passengers will be weighed prior to departure, however supplying us with your weights beforehand will enable us to advise you if there is a problem with the weight of the aircraft you have booked. Should the helicopter be over its weight limitation, we reserve the right to upgrade to a bigger helicopter at the passengers expense, or one passenger can choose not to fly.

Children must be accompanied by an adult

As stated by Civil Aviation Regulations, all mobile phones must be switched to flight mode during the flight. You are welcome to take pictures or film during the flight.

Clients are advised to submit a child/Infant passengers identification document once the booking is made so that we can confirm his/her age. Identification may also be requested at arrival but before the flight. If the client does not supply the identification and we cannot determine with certainty, the child/Infants age, we may refuse to allow such child/Infant and his/her guardian to board the helicopter. In this event the client will not be refunded in way.
