Super great way to get to cu chi tunnels. Knowledgeable guide and beat the crowds! Would definitely do again.

I was slightly dubious when the tour of the Viet Cong tunnels 45 km outside Saigon was suggested but it was both interesting, sobering, frightening and in the case of the boat up the Saigon River quite wonderful. Kengha (I am sure I have the spelling wrong!) was our guide. He was well informed, very good English, amusing and instructive. For those who do not want to go down underground deeper and deeper in tiny tunnels there is a small stretch you can do for about three minutes but the rest of the visit is all above ground. The Viet Cong were very imaginative in their instruments of torture made from the trees/bamboos they had around them and the remnants of American weapons. Their abilities to hide and protect themselves are impressive. It is a grim subject and the impact of Agent Orange which reduced the area to a moonscape, killed every tree and left three generations with appalling birth defects is difficult to comprehend as you walk around the curving paths in lovely leafy woods. Apparently, other countries' armies send soldiers to learn at the site. But the speedy boat trip there and back along the wide Saigon River is just lovely. The lunch (included) was massive and we were embarrassed to leave so much.

Great way to learn about the Vietnam war and a scenic transport by boat. Our guide Nguyen had a wealth of knowledge about the war and led a really informative tour. He was the perfect host for our day trip. 10/10

Very professionally run tour. Punctual pick up, great journey to the site via speedboat with cool city views and scenery of the Saigon river. High quality tour guide, Nguyen, with insightful stories about the war and tunnel site. Food was also tasty. Small group gives a personal experience with lots of opportunities to ask questions.

This was the highlight of our stay. Going by speedboat up the Saigon was a wonderful way to visit the Cu Chi tunnels. Our super guide Hang and her assistant looked after us so well. Hang’s knowledge was first class as was the catering and whole experience. Our teenagers loved it!

This was a fantastic very well organized tour. The fast boat is the quickest way to get to the tunnels and the early tour is great as you avoid the crowds later on in the day. Breakfast, fruit, local coffee and plenty of cold drinks are supplied on the boat. Authentic lunch at the venue was good also. Our guide Huyen was very friendly, patient and knowledgeable. Her English was exceptional. A must do when in Saigon, good value for money as well.

Going by boat on the river was definitely the best way to get to the Cu Chi tunnels. Duke our guide was great and his family experience gave us a real insight into the conflict that occurred during the war, with some on the south side and some fighting for the north. The Cu Chi tunnels themselves were interesting but definitely worth going to the war remnants museum first to get a better understanding of all aspects of the war and so put them into context.

What an amazing tour, we learnt so much. Kang was a phenomenal tour guide, he was interesting, engaging and very enthusiastic. We loved spending the day with him. The breakfast on the boat was delicious, as was the lunch at the restaurant. We would not hesitate to recommend this tour to anyone and everyone!

Our tour guide Nguyen was kind, friendly and very informative. He made the tour so special and provided a lot of information even while on the boat ride. We loved this tour and highly recommend this one as you get to the Cu Chi tunnels early to avoid the busy time. Lunch was traditional and delicious. All the extra touches made this tour very enjoyable, highly recommend! Thank again :)
