  Good trip overall. Bikes worked well but poor to zero information from guide. They factor in a stop for souvenirs en route to restaurant so when we declined the stop the trip fell way short of expected time. Couldn’t believe we were at destination . Asked to ride back again rather than the guides plan to get truck and have us go back in that. He agreed. Unfortunately his bike lost power on way back so had that to deal with! Otherwise a nice quiet bike ride on a designated bike path. Wish there was more information given by guide. Bikes were easy to ride. My first time on electric bike and was a positive one!

  The guide was very good, although we were never offered water except for lunch and it was hot that day. Our friend got a bike that was too big and was very wobbly at first but never fell. Others did fall and a few had bike problems. My two suggestions are one, be more prepared for flat tires and mechanical problems, two, 2 guides per group would be much safer for the visitors.

  What a perfect Day! The meet-up location instructions were good, and in-processing was a breeze. We left in a passenger van that fit our fellow bikers comfortably with the e-bikes being carried in another vehicle. After a 30 minute ride, we arrived at our start location and received our simple e-bike driving instructions. (If this is your first time using an e-bike, you will do yourselves a favor to pay attention. A few of the riders in our group were not careful when stopping and ended up running alongside their bike that ended in a spill with no injuries.) The physical activity to operate the bikes is minimal and you can obtain speeds upwards to 30mph. We stopped twice before our 10-mile trek to the restaurant. Once to view sea water crashing into the coast, and another at a vendor oasis where you could purchase local goods and another place to take pictures on the shore. (The vendors are not pushy, and your guides are on working for you, not the vendors if you understand my meaning.) The restaurant is next to the shore and there was a 2-man mariachi band that strolled the tables. The food was excellent. Next to the restaurant are other vendors. If you see something you would like to purchase, I encourage you to haggle to 50% of the listed price. On the return trek, you drive the 10-miles straight through to where you started your e-bike ride. Again, listen to your guides instructions as there are rules to the road and they are strictly enforced by the local police. You take another 30-minute van ride which takes you to the port, not to the vendor's shop where you initially signed in. Remember to tip your (2) guides and (2) van drivers and take sunscreen and a small backpack. We had about a dozen riders in our group and none of us experienced mechanical issues with our e-bikes. Our excursion was in March and the weather was perfect, but that costs extra ; )

  When we need a day on dry land, we love to take the Beach Bum Island tour. Ask Griselda for this special tour around the entire island. Milton is a great guide and now a great friend. If you need special accommodations or a custom tour, just ask Gris. She’s the best!

  Excellent experience. Our ship arrived in late and we missed our reservation time and they still accommodated us. It was basically a private tour. Milton was an amazing guide. Bikes and scenery were perfect. Highly recommend!

  We LOVED this tour. We booked this the day our cruise was in port and had no trouble catching a cab to the bike shop. The electric bikes were awesome and so easy to learn to use. The bike trail along the coast was beautiful and we had a wonderful experience. Our tour guide was very friendly.

  Beautiful scenic coastal ride with a great guide. Nice paved uncrowded bike path with a nice lunch spot.

  We had a great time on this tour! Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. It was very windy the day we went. I was concerned about getting blown around. We had no trouble because the e bikes were heavy and easy to ride. We enjoyed majestic views and enjoyed our time! I would definitely do this again.

  Our number one favorite part was the people working at Beach Bum. Gris spent 20 minutes with me 2 days before our tour teaching me how to ride an electric bike. Our guide, Milton, was also awesome.. very attentive to safety and very informative about the island. These people are professional, yet warm and friendly. We loved the scenery! It is amazing. You ride along a dedicated bike road with no traffic, always alongside the ocean, It is about the right amount of exercise for us. We are fit seniors so 45 minutes of riding in each direction was good for us. The lunch was very good. We appreciated the relaxed stops with ops for souvenir shopping and enjoying the fantastic views. We rate this tour 11 out of 10! Shelagh and Ken

  Fantastic company! Carlos was awesome! Rode from the landmark to rastas round trip and had lots of juice left! Would def do again
