Great tour, Erol was very knowledgeable. The small group size made the experience even better as we could focus on things that interested us more than others. Perfect for visiting these two historic sites of Istanbul.

I really loved this service and Erol did a great job. He was timely and spent the entire duration explaining about the history of the monument and the palace. He answered questions clearly and if he didn’t know, he admitted he didn’t. Great tour and since we were just two people, even though this is a group tour, we enjoyed every bit

My tour with Errol was the highlight of my trip to Istanbul. He was so knowledgeable and kind. He adapted the tour to my interests (I love history) and went above and beyond in answering my questions. He came prepared with an extra headscarf for me and a bag to keep my shoes in. He was also great at making sure I got any pictures I wanted. At Topkapi Palace you have the option to pay a bit more to see the Harem Section, and I highly recommend doing it. I found that part of the tour to be so interesting.

Erol was an amazing guide and shared so much information, spanning 2000 years to present day. I only wish we had done this tour sooner in our time in Istanbul and that we could have booked a second tour with Erol. We were there during the peak of holiday season and so there was a 45min wait to enter Hagia Sofia (there’s no skip the line access option since being re-established as an active mosque in 2020) but Erol filled this period with fascinating stories, we were in before we realized! This tour is great for people with limited time but an appetite for a deeper experience at two of Istanbul’s finest historical treasures.

Truly amazing experience of walking into a place of worship that was constructed more than 1500 years ago. The history behind both Hagia Sophia and Topkapi Palace was an incredible insight. We were also lucky to get an amazing guide by the name of Errol which made it more enjoyable.

Our tour guide was very knowledgeable of both locations on our tour. Made seeing the sites even more sublime (didn’t think that would be possible with how beautiful they are)
