  • Excellent half day trip providing a great overview of Hoover Dam...exterior as well as interior. Driver was very well informed and knowledgeable! Tour included adequate free time at Hoover Dam for photos. Even the drive to and from the Strip was informative. I especially enjoyed the historical background on Nevada and Las Vegas on the drive to the Dam. I would highly recommend this tour for a half day tour outside the city.

  • We were picked up at our hotel, New York New York, at the exact time and location that had been pre-planned. There were three of us and the mini-bus was full I believe about 12 of us in total. Our guide was Pam and she was very informative, not only about our destination but about Vegas and the surrounding area. The tour itself was fascinating and a good combination of structured tour time and some free time. Bottled water and small snacks granola bars and pretzels were offered. We were picked up at 12:35 and didn't get back to the hotel until around 5:30 due to traffic...just something to keep in mind if you have plans for later in the evening.

  • Totally awestruck by the size of the Dam. Our guide James picked us up from our hotel in a very nice luxury MPV. Our journey to the dam took us to Boulder City, the original town where the workers on the dam lived. We then continued on to Lake Mead with James giving us lots of information along the way which was really interesting. At Lake Mead we stopped for photos and James was more than happy to take pictures of us which was nice. We then carried on to the Dam. Its massive. You cant help but be impressed with the engineering that went into it. There is a really interesting museum to look around and a short movie to watch, before then walking along the top of the dam. One side is in Nevada and the other side is in Arizona. The views are stunning. We also walked out onto Memorial Bridge for the iconic photo looking straight onto the dam. Its really high but so worth it. Unfortunately, the elevators were not working been out for a couple of months apparently so we were unable to go down into the dam itself. So we cant say if Megatron is hiding down there or not sorry! On the way back from the dam, James took us to see some Long Horn Sheep in a local park area so we got some good photos of those.

  • Did not get to complete trip. We had to Ask the driver to let us out before leaving Vegas . Van was warm and when 2 other women got on and asked the driver to turn air down, he did and made the trip unbearable. The driver was a very jerky and on and off gas pedal and being stuck in traffic did not help the matter. I know traffic was not his fault, however, being a CDL driver myself, he should have been more considerate. Cooler in van with waters that were slightly cold but cooler had no ice and they were not going to stay cold for long.... we wont mention the snack basket.
We will try this tour again....however we will drive ourselves.

  • Please be advised...do not take anything in your back pack like food!!!! Our wonderful guide Tommy had to take all my snacks back to the bus after I had to run after him. On the day we were there the elevator was broken so the tour did not happen. The shuttle was on time, the driver, Tommy, was informative and the snacks and water were welcomed. We enjoyed the break away from Vegas for the morning and am glad we took it.

  • This half-day tour to Hoover Dam was exceptional. Our driver/guide provided lots of information, not only about Hoover Dam, but also about Las Vegas and nearby communities. Traveling with a small group there were just nine on this tour made getting off and on the bus fast, and allowed us to get acquainted with our fellow tour members. It was a very hot day, but we had plenty of cold water, and the temperature in the bus was comfortable. Visiting Hoover Dam is a must for anyone visiting Las Vegas.

  • Wow, a great trip! Well worth the money. Tony, our driver was phenomenal! Very knowledgeable of the entire area and dam. He answered all questions. We didn’t want to see the dam in a big tour bus. This was exactly what we wanted. Small group with space to move. Tony made sure we were taken care of.

  • What a fun/informative trip!! Who knew the Hoover Dam was so remarkable in so many ways? A must-see for all travelers.

  • Really recommend this trip, great value for money. Out guide was amazing, and very friendly and informative, although I can't remember her name. A really nice lady, and made us feel like a little family

  • Pick up was on time, Tommy introduced himself and explained what the trip would be like. Very informative ride to the dam, pointing out lots of landmarks and sharing the history of the land. At the dam the tour was was equally impressive with plenty of time to explore on your own. I woiuld highly recommend this tour!
