If you like to get bounced around, this is the tour for you. The countryside was lovely to see. Our guide took us to a wonderful lookout point, an Arab's Castle ruins which also had a beautiful lookout as well as driving us through some very quaint towns. He was very funny and engaging! He even picked us each our own oranges from a grove.

A fantastic experience of viewing the wilderness of Portugal, and where all of the natural produce are grown. only let down was the drunken woman that joined later on
would recomend again but maybe for a more private viewing -
I can not fault the service or the driver at all. Very friendly and very knowledgable about the local area.
However, the one thing our group was not happy about was the tour is advertised as visiting historical castles and villages? We went to one village for 20 minutes and couldn’t have a drink as the electric had gone. We didn’t even see any castles either. It is also advertised as a swim under a waterfall, I’m sorry but there was no waterfall, it’s just like a river which you can swim in? Also, the honey and liquor is in some ladies back garden and cannot be advised as a ‘distillery’ as it is far from it! Overall it was an ok tour but I feel like it was a lot of driving with not much to really see.

Good experience in a 4x4. Must do to see real Algarve. It is kid friendly as well. My 4 year old had fun.

Private tour due to off season. Authentic understanding of the Algarve. Our guide was very passionate and knowledgeable about the area.

Absolutely amazing trip yesterday....by far my favourite day of our holiday. Our guide Marco was brilliant and knew so many interesting facts about everything we saw. I think we could possibly even survive a few nights in the wild now as he taught us so much. We expreienced so many great things, I couldn't even say what was my favourite part, but some of my highlights of the day have to be watching the sunset, learning about and tasting the firewater and the off roading part when he told me to come sit in the front and strap myself in and then told the boys to stand up in the back and hold on tight!! Before you think it, no he wasn't being sexist, but i had hurt my foot and was already saying i was a bit chilly. I highly recommend taking this trip if you get the chance, we will certainly be recommending it to all our friends and family. Its Great value for money and usually when we holiday places, we dont do the same excursions again but if we return to the algarve with other friends, we will 100 be taking them on this trip as long as Marco is available to drive us again. One last piece of advice is: Even if its a hot day, I recommend taking trainers rather than flip flops trousers and a coat with you in your bag because it does get rather cold when the roof is off after the sun goes down as you go quite fast through the countryside, so the wind really gets you.

Had a great time. The tour guide was really good. A highlight was meeting Pavarotti the apple loving donkey.
