What a great way to see another part of Penang! We visited a local village, got a sense of the countryside and the agricultural practices happening there, had a fantastic guide in Eddie and met another couple! I would highly recommend this as it was the perfect balance between learning, exercising & trying some local foods!

We had a great time touring the countryside of Penang. Pickup and drop off at hotel was flawless. Eddie, the owner of the business, was the guide and he was fantastic-so knowledgeable about Penang and Malaysia in general. Highly recommend!

The half day cycling tour was a fantastic experience. We were picked up from our hotel and then driven to the beautiful rural area of the island where the cycle took place. The bikes are nothing special but perfectly fine for the tour! Eddy the tour guide was brilliant, his English is excellent and has wonderful knowledge of the local area, Penang and Malaysia. We got to stop at Malay and Chinese villages, a goat farm and learnt lots about local industries such as palm oil. We also got free water, a drink halfway and ice creams! The tour is only for half day (morning) so still leaves plenty of time to explore the island. I highly recommend the tour and thanks again to Eddy for a brilliant experience.

RECOMMEND YOU DO NOT TAKE THIS TOUR. They charge a premium but are not at all responsive over phone or messages. We had a medical emergency and were trying to get in touch with the tour operator on the provided number. We called multiple times and sent several messages but no one responded. It's quite surprising that TripAdvisor puts this on their platform. We lost our money and they didn't even process a refund. I have travelled around the world but have never seen any local tour provider be so unprofessional. Very disappointing experience.

What a wonderful experience. It was a great escape from the busy streets of the city. A highlight of our trip. The only negative is that the bikes could use an upgrade. But they did the job and that's the main thing.

The tour guide was very kind, but the bikes very really old, most of them not really functioning well. It was a 10km short bike tour through Penang island. If you’re looking for more advanced biking, longer routes and therefore more to see, you should pick another tour.

The bike tour was fantastic. We had a great time. Only concern was that some of the bikes needed maintenance work.

We were picked up from George Town and taken to where we accessed the bicycles, then set off down country lanes, through palm oil plantations and to a fishing village for a coffee break, then a lovely milking goat farm where we had a great visit feeding animal's & having ice cream, then past a local mosque on our return ride to base, with minimal traffic, with our leaders Eddie & a really lovely guy who's name I cannot remember. I really enjoyed the experience. I note the bikes are in varying states of repair however, my bike of choice was good, comfortable and perfect for my cycling needs. As there was a chance of rain we were provided with rain coat & did need them for the last 10 mins when it poured, but as it was warm (& the rain coats) this was not a problem. A great morning outing when in Penang, getting to see the far side of the island & local life.

This is a peaceful & tranquil way to spend half a day. The rural views are very picturesque & the terrain is not challenging. The cycle tour is in the district of Balik Pulau. You’ll stop for coffee at the fishing village Kuala Sungai Pinang. Mr Foo, the owner of the Kong Lean coffee shop, is a great guy & a big Freddie Mercury fan! Tour guide TC is lovely too. Watch out for the ostrich at the goat farm!

We wanted to do something we love to do in the Netherlands and that is riding a bike. We booked a tour here and at exactly 7am TC pur tour guide picked us up. TC told so much different information and facts that we definitely would win a triviant game about Penang!! It really was a lovely experience and TC took really good care of us. Would recommend it to everyone!! Thanks again.
