Locals and many Thai tourists come to pray and pay respects to several revered monks who were the founders of Wat Chalong, among them Luang Pho Cham and Luang Pho Chuang, 2 monks, who led the citizens of Chalong Sub district fighting against the Chinese rebellion in 1876 and with their knowledge of herbal medicine helped the injured.
The most recent building on the grounds of Wat Chalong is a 60 meters tall 'Chedi' sheltering a splinter of bone from Buddha. Walls and ceilings are decorated with beautiful painting illustrating the life of Buddha, as well as many donated golden statues. Wat Chalong Chedi is built on three floors so feel free to climb all the way to the top floor terrace to get a nice bird view on the entire temple grounds.

+ great way to get an overview + Good value for money + Very friendly staff + Enough time at stops (15 min lookout, 45 min old town, 45 min Wat chalong, 45 min big buddha) - The pick up was at 12.50pm instead of 12.10pm. But tour ended later. - barely any explanations about sights

the trip itself was cool but poorly planned because we had two wives who couldn't read the clock. when we were picked up, the 20 minutes were too late and the organizer wanted to catch up with the time at the big Buddha and gave us all 15 minutes less time, which we clearly needed in retrospect. However, the two women mentioned took their time and came here almost half an hour late... it says in the description that the organizer does not wait in case of delays. However, we did that and again our time was reduced to make up for it and I find that more than disrespectful. In two places we simply needed more than 30 minutes. At the Big Buddha and in Phuket Old Town. All in all, I would have wished for more assertiveness from the organizer and that our time wasn't cut short or that we at least received compensation for it. To the guide. he seemed very nice, but apart from announcing the itinerary, there was no further information about the places visited. so I'm wondering why we needed a "professional guide"? theoretically we had a taxi that brought us back and forth and we looked at the places by ourselves. In addition, we had another 10 minutes in a cashew shop... the cashews were delicious, but that wasn't in the description and we lost time as a result. The trip would be recommended if, on the one hand, the guests are on time and, on the other hand, you also get background information about the places and don't have to google them yourself, otherwise you can share a taxi with another couple and have a much more relaxed day!

Definitely you get what you pay for - considerably cheaper than other tours of Phuket but got no info from the guides so just wandered around all the sites. Also was 3 hours not 6 but probably was for the best, wouldn’t want to spend any longer at the sites.

Everything was great. Good price, interesting guide, door to door, easy to find group, enough time to see everything.

Lita our guide was delightful, charming and knowledgeable. She gave us just the right balance of info before we reached each of the spots. You can always linger a little longer in each of the places but I thought it was just right. Van was air conditioned, not the latest model but comfy enough. I liked the fact that food was not included and knew time would be spent collecting and dropping off ppl before and after. We hit traffic on the way back to hotel but that was expected

A nice tour to learn about Phuket and its rich history. We made five stops during the tour.
The first stop was at Khao Rang Hill View Point by Khaorang Breeze to see all of Phuket for about 15 minutes.
Then we stopped at Old Phuket and the tour guide let us wonder around for 50 minutes and we met at Soi Rommannee - soi means street. Phuket Old Town was a typical tourist location, and it was busy with tourists from all over the world. Of all the stops, it seemed like you can get the best deals - bottles of water around 8 - 10 bahts and elephant pants as cheap as 150 bahts. At other places, bottles of water cost 10 or 20 bahts and elephant pants are 250 or more bahts (and at the airport it costs 290).
The third stop was at a cashew making facility for 15 minutes, but we were there closer to 40 minutes - we were guessing it was a pit stop, didn’t have to pay to use the restrooms and able to try free samples of cashew.
The next stop was at Chaithararam Temple (Wat Chalong) for 30 minutes.
Big Buddha Phuket was the last stop for 30 minutes. Great selfie spots, a lot of other tourists, more shopping options, and several places to get cool beverages, snacks, and souvenirs. Bottles of water cost 10 bahts and Coca-Cola for 20 bahts.
Pretty good tour overall, wished we the guide provided more history during the ride between the stops.

Can't thank the team enough. Not only did we get a great tour, with an air-conditioned bus and knowledgable tour guide, but it was an incredibly inexpensive tour. We saw sights we would have never found on our own and can't recommend this crew enough. We also met some wonderful people from other nations, so nice to experience these sites all together!
