  • It's was a great tour. Interesting. Learn the process of silk making and great history behind. Very peaceful surrounding and atmosphere

  • I really enjoyed this tour. As there were only four people on this tour we weren't rushed at all. Our guide was very informative and we saw exactly how the silk was processed. We got to feed the silkworms, spin the silk from the cocoon, spin the bobbin for the shuttle and also have a go on the weaving looms. My husband although reluctant to do this tour thinking it was for women! enjoyed it and learnt how much work goes into making fabric. The lunch after was good. Spring Rolls with shrimp, fried tofu, pork noodle soup and watermelon to finish. Just be aware that saying you can't eat shellfish doesn't mean that there won't be any. Not too much of an issue with me as I am not allergic/anaphylactic, it just doesn't agree with me if I eat it. Definitely recommend this tour. Great value for money.

  • Very interesting and very well executed Hands on as we were able to try some of the processes ourselves On wordpress. 5 stars for this one. Martine - Belgium

  • Tour guide and tour were very interesting.
Punctual pick up and hotel return.
It was only the 2 of us and the entire compound was empty....
Nice to see charts with the life cycle of silk worms and moths.
Great fun to help feed the worms, 'make' silk thread from cocoons caterpillars were available for eating! and then try our hand at weaving!!
The silk store had magnificent items for sale at reasonable prices.
The 4 course lunch afterwards was EXCELLENT.
The trip was well worth the time and money.

  • Our tour was a great experience. We had a hands on tour with a very knowledgeble guide.
I tried some of the many aspects of silkworm farming such as weaving and pulling the silk thread from the cocoon.
We learnt a great deal whilst also having fun. This was followed by a nice lunch.I could thoroughly recommend this tour to anyone!
