Great tour made even better by our lovely guide Yuri. He was extremely informative and answered everyone’s questions with ease. He kept ensuring we were able to stop and hide in the shade, get drinks and use the toilets at regular intervals. He was funny and clearly very enthusiastic about what he does. We learnt a lot from Yuri, the best tour guide we’ve had!!
-
Nice tour, our guide was very accommodating and very knowledgeable The only inconvenience was the extreme heat. Nothing to do with the guide or the tour company I would do it again and I highly recommend it
-
The guide was extremely knowledgeable regarding the history of the colosseum and surrounding sites. She was aware of the heat and made every attempt to keep us in the shade and comfortable.
-
We had a brilliant tour with a really informative guide (Cara). It was super hot and Cara made the tour informative for my 10 and 13 years old but ensured we were in shade when we stopped. We did the 3:30pm tour and the sunlight when we got into the colosseum (around 5pm) was perfect for photos.

The woman who guided our tour was excellent. Very knowledgeable, funny at times and her feeling of how awful the games really were came thru.

So glad we booked this tour and avoided the long lines in the heat. Our guide Christina was friendly and knowledgeable about the sites and took good care of the groups safety and comfort. They give you an ear piece so you can hear the guide at all times. I was surprised to learn about how the Colosseum has been used over the years. Definitely bring a refillable water bottle and good walking shoes, there are places to refill your bottle along the way.
