Come join us snorkeling some of the most beautiful reefs within the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary and Pennekamp State Park. We have many possible reefs to explore: Molasses, Elbow, French Reef and the famous Christ of the Abyss on Dry Rocks. These protected areas offer an opportunity to see turtles, spotted eagle rays, moray eels and a variety of different fish. These special reefs are part of the 3rd largest living reef system in the world and the ONLY living coral reef in the US. We stop at two different locations on the reef. Each stop is determined by the captain based on the day's conditions. We cannot guarantee any specific site.

In an effort to reduce the amount of single-use plastic that ends up in our oceans, we recommend bringing a reusable water bottle. We have water coolers in our shop and on our boats for your convenience!

The trip was amazing. The captain is fantastic and looks after everyone of all abilities and makes it a fun experience. They know the reefs really well, and they show you two different locations, one that includes a shipwreck and one that includes incredible coral reefs with an amazing ecosystem of fish. Fantastic experience.

Such a fun time! Brad and Brandon were a fantastic crew, full of interesting facts about mangroves, silly pirate jokes, and made sure we all had a great experience snorkeling, giving us pro tips and even pointing out a sting ray from the boat! The day we went (my husband and I) was gorgeous, sunny, calm waters, and we saw so many incredible tropical fish, especially huge barracudas, sea urchins, conchs, and of course the famous John Pennekamp Jesus statue! The boat was comfy, the equipment was nice, and it was well worth the price. Thanks for a great time!

We loved our snorkeling experience with Captain Brad and First Mate Brandon of Pirates Cove Watersports! They took us to 2 sites - Christ of the Abyss (underwater Jesus) and a second site. Both were incredible! Water was clear, so many beautiful fish and coral, the statue was cool. An exhilarating experience for a couple of pretty inexperienced snorkelers and we felt safe the whole time. John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park was so much more beautiful than I could have imagined. Brad and Brandon were fun and knowledgeable. If you're going to snorkel in the Keys, this is the place to do it!

Captain Chris and first mate, Hadriam were Excellent in every way! They were informative & demonstrated their concern for the participants safety as well as adding humor & a relaxed approach which helped us thoroughly enjoy the experience! The day was perfect with great visibility & they helped us identify the sea life & types of tropical fish. Highly recommend the scuba & snorkeling adventure!

Everytzhong was perfect. The crew was friendly, knew great spots, was VERY cautious about safety and gave afterwards a great recommendation on where to eat! The spots were great for experienced snorklers and newbies!

Although the guides had cheesy jokes they made us feel safe and comfortable on the water. We had a great day and saw two beautiful reefs. Remember to bring your snacks and a sweatshirt as it does get windy out there sometimes!
