After being picked up from your Siem reap hotel, your day begins with a stop atSrah Srang, also known as King's Baths,to see alarge reservoir from the 13th century that still holds water today. From here it's only a short walk to the Buddhist temple of Banteay kdei, before heading over to famous Ta Prohmthe tree-laden temple from Tomb Raider. ThoughLara Croft, played by Angelina Jolie, has long since left the temple, the twisting roots of enormous Spung trees still climb the ancient rockwalls, and make the temple a photographer's paradise that's wildly popular with visitors. At the end of this half-day, mystical experience, your tour concludes with a convenient drop-off in front of your Siem reap hotel.

Better take a private tour. Our 'small' group consisted of 12 people, some came very late, the guide was very late also... so eventually it took me 2.5 hours from been picked up from the hotel to the moment the tour had started...
I strongly recommend do it with a private guide or on its own with the book.

We had been warned about the high heat, humidity by other friends and so opted for early AM half day tours with private guide so we could do at our pace and spread tours over 4 days and so glad that we did it this way. It is quite reasonable and guide and driver both solicitous to our needs. We had the same guide and driver for all the days so other tours so that was great. The only thing that we had to contest before we left home is that the tour operator tried to change us to a Tuk Tuk from what we had arranged through Viator which was for air conditioned car with water. So please check your emails from this tour operator and be sure that they do not try to change what you have ordered and pre-paid. It was finally settled through Viator and emails to operator.

Very pleased with the tour and worth taking to see the Banteay Kdei temple which wasn't included in any of the other tours we took. Our guide was lovely and very informative.
Disappointed that we did not receive the included meal! -

Relaxed tour with good guide. Did this tour on the back of a day tour of Angkor Wat but thought this was better in a lot of ways. Less tourists and the sites were more 'undiscovered'.

I took this private tour my first day in Siem Reap and it was nice. Ta Prohm is way more impressive than Banteay Kdei Tour. I ended up doing another private tour of Angkor Wat and Ta Prohm with my husband the next day. So I got to see Ta Prohm twice and it was still impressive.
The Tour itself was good. The guide had a great sense of humor. The food was pretty good at the restaurant and I enjoyed being taken around in a Tuk Tuk. It was my only Tuk Tuk ride the entire time we were in Siem Reap. I would say if you are taking an Angkor Tour that includes Ta Prohm than this tour could feel repetitive. However, if you are exploring Angkor Wat on your own then I would recommend this tour to learn the cool history of Ta Prohm which needs a bit of explanation.
