Vladimir is the best guide we could have! He was punctual, spoke very good English and he is knowledgeable about Macedonia history, culture and current affairs. The millennium cross is worth a visit as you can see not only Skopje beneath you but also the mountains bordering Kosovo and Macedonia. Then we drove to the Matka Canyon where we went on a boat ride to see a cave and appreciate the beauty and tranquility of the place. Vladimir joined us too and he was explaining every corner we saw. We enjoyed the trip so much, that afterwards, all the group had dinner together. The tour took longer than expected because of traffic, around 5hrs but Vladimir didn't complain a tiny bit and entertained us with his facts till the last minute. Thanks for this memorable day!!

The Tourguide was fabulous. We had time to take pictures and loom around. The cable car to the Millennium Cross, the Church and the Mathka Canyon were wonderful. Absolutely Recommended. The Van was comfortable and had AC. 10/10

Hi! We met our guide Alexander in the Skopje Fortress entrance, and he wellcomed us very friendly. Our group was just 4 people, and it was so good that we just wander around like a friends team☺️ First we went to the Millenium Cross by cable-car, then we had half an hour of free time to go for some walking there. And it was quite charming atmosphere as it was on the top of Vodno Mountain. Then we stopped by The Church of St Panteleimon and had the great view from the church yard. After that we had half an hour journey to Matka Canyon, canyon was great as it is a very natural and cool atmosphere there. We had an optional boat tour with the group, and then the tour was over. We headed back to the Skopje city center. Alexander was both very friendly and informative at the same time. He also told us some local information about the county itself. I recommend this tour if you don’t have a car yourself, very great opportunity to discover the area around Skopje.

Vladimir is an amazing tour guide! Knowledgable and very prepared! If you can’t drive this is by far the best way to see all the main sights! A very enjoyable afternoon!

This tour is a great way to visit Matka Canyon if you do not have a car available. On top, you get one of the most knowledgeable local guides, I have ever had the pleasure to have. The guide is happy share his knowledge on the drive to an from Matka. In Matka, I enjoyed having free time to explore at my own pace. I took the one hour boat trip ti visit the cave and then had time for a small hike on the path along the Canyon. Highly recommend the tour and not the least Matka Canyon on a trip to Macedonia.

Very nice trip to Millenium Cross and Matka. Our tour guide Alexander was great and knew a lot about the history of Macedonia. We learned a lot and enjoyed the beautiful scenery Macedonia offered us. The duration of the trip was just enough, we had the time to take the boat to the cave and have a little snack as well.

Great quick tour to see what is outside of central Skopje. Although the Millennium Cross itself was not that great, the view from the hilltop was very nice. Matka Canyon was a highlight in terms of scenery. The tour company was excellent, left exactly on time. and my tour guide, Vladimir, was very knowledgeable and friendly.

If you don't drive, I suggest you do this tour. I suggest spending more time in Matka Canyon - it feels like there is more to do, for some reason the suggestion was the boat trip to see the cave, which is beautiful but I'd rather do other things - like walking around the canyon or probably kayak.

Fantastic tour. Breathtaking views of Skopje from the Vodno mountains and the peaceful St Panteleimon monastery and Matka canyon and the underground caves are a must watch in Skopje. Vladimir was a fantastic guide and he explained history, geography, politics etc. with exceptional command. Also very friendly and very good English. When we started he said he is the best guide in the city and I do agree he was one of the finest I traveled with so far. Ask for him when you are in Skopje.
