A must when in Fez, our tour guide spoke English well and explained every part of the medina with passion , also great opportunities to buy local crafts , clothing and experience the craftsman in the Midina, leather tannery in action. Be aware of prices upfront before committing to buy and be firm and clear when not interested to buy :-)

My stay in Fez was horrible. First of all they should know and not have tours available for Morocco on a Friday, as it is the day of prayer and everything is closed and piggy. My experience in this city was the worst I've had in my entire life. It is a horrible city and too dirty. Needless to say, the guide was the worst, they told him George Clony. He never told us his real name. I stopped smoking and I know that it is part of their culture, but as a guide I should also respect that we were with two better-aged people who can hurt that smoke. It did not take us to the places included in the tour, and above all the places were closed. The price of the tour does not deserve to be paid sincerely, it must be less and that paid 65 Elidia for 5 people, which at the beginning was for only 2 and still it seems to me that it is an abuse, condolences price service. Now, the guide took us to places in the Medina that were nauseating, full of garbage, pollution, dirt, danger, bad holor, in a nutshell it was horrible. My family was scared, horrified by everything we went through. In La Médina and the places it took us, it was full of flies, bees, dirty cats, etc. He took us to places where the meat of animals was seen in plain sight and to places where it smelled horrible, such is the case that two of my family members vomited when they passed by, especially when we went to the leather dealership. The smell there was horrible. Honestly none of the places on that tour are recommended for tourists. Then, I have a family member who has a phobia of cats and in Médina there were too many, when the guide was explained about this problem he did nothing to help the tourist. The only thing he told us is that we had to get used to it because that was the whole Médina. Virtually my mom was vomiting and did nothing. Simply put, this tour was the most horrible of all my life. It was the most disgusting of all. I recommend that if you prepare tours in Fez do it outside of Médina or make sure that the city is in the conditions to receive tourists. Terrible service, I will never hire a tour here.

Khalid was an excellent guide and showed us another side of fez . He was knowledgeable and fun and we had an excellent time with him. Recommend as a good introduction to fez and gives first timers a chance to feel at home in what is a very different city . Highly recommend Khalid
