Good tour with stops at main spots. Air conditioning on bus. Very good guide and nice. Everything was included and visit to la Popa. Cheaper than other tours on and covers all.

Avoid like the plague. The worst tour we have ever been on. Pick up was 40 mins late then there was further confusion because the guide had the wrong names even though we had reconfirmed the day before. There was no apology. There was an extra staff member. No idea who she was. She was miserable and thrust a bottle of water in our hands without speaking. Later we picked up another member of staff. No idea why. The main purpose of the tour was the walking tour of the beautiful squares. This never happened - I presume because it got too dark because it had started so late. At one stage the guide picked up his wife and son to take home. It was more like being on a shared taxi service. How to imagine how it could have been any worse.

Our tour guide Richard was excellent. Richard was doing a mixed language tour and he was extremely organized managing each language group. Richard was very courteous and aware of the needs of People in the group and very respectful to everyone. Richard was quite well spoken, knowledgeable, and answered questions thoroughly. Great way to see sites that you might otherwise miss.

Our two families really enjoyed to the tour. We got to see the key sites, received insights in English from our tour guide, and were able to cool off from the intense heat in the comfortable modern air-conditioned buses. This is the best way to see the historical sights.

Although they were 30+ mins late from the time they told me they would pick us up, and they do pick up a bus-load of 25-30 people before starting the tour - Richard did a great job. This is an English and Spanish tour (which we were not expecting) and I wish I had known that ahead of time, but Richard did a great job explaining everything about Cartagena. He told us the history, did a walking tour through the old town which gave you the lay of the city. Very impressed!

The tour with Nico was quite informative and he was very attentive to the English speaking audiences. This is a must take tour early in your trip to Cartagena. It sets the baseline for your further exploration later in your trip. La Popa and the San Felipe were the highlights.

The beginning was just a bus ride across city of Cartagena. It gets interesting once you hit the San Felipe Fortress

This is a good tour; however, our group was predominantly Spanish speaking. Those of us who spoke English felt completely left out. Our guide, Oscar, would speak for about 5 minutes in Spanish then say to us (once we protest) that he'll translate. When he does, it's usually one sentence.
