Jamie was knowledgeable and an interesting tour guide. Her English is excellent and loves China. We had a private six hour tour including the drive to and from Shanghai. The time went quickly and we even had a boat ride. Jamie answered and clarified many questions we had on China. She offered to take some pictures, gave excellent advise on where to shop and knows pearls! I will request Jamie on our next visit.

Zhujiajiao water town had been on our list of things to do for some years now. So decided to get it done this visit to Shanghai. The hotel recommended Gray Line and we booked for the next day. Grace was our guide for the day. They arrived right on time at 9.00am. Grace was very informative and helpful showing us around Zhujiajiao water town. Enjoyed a nice boat ride and walk around the old part of the town. On the way back visited a Silk Factory which was extremely interesting. A great day out.

Long transit times for a short, rushed visit. Site was interesting and tour guide was informative but did not appear to be very passionate. If you decide to do this prepare to spend 4 hours in a car and 1.5 hours at the site.

Zhouzhuang water village was lovely and fun. Only do this instead of full day Suzhou-Zhouzhuang. That was a boring nightmare with 6 hours driving and 2 hours forced shopping. Zhouzhuand is much closer to Shanghai and this is where you can ride the gondolas and walk over the pretty bridges.
