Gabriel was very knowledgeable and I learned a lot in our short time. Not knowing much at all about Viking history I found the tour fascinating and very worthwhile to see all of it up close. The town of Sigunta is quaint and historic and the stop at the coffeehouse at the end was a great way to cap the day. He also filled us in on the local Stockholm area as well and gave us tips on restaurants and museums to visit.

This tour was, by far, the best experience I had during a four day visit to Stockholm. Nadia, our guide, was brilliant, with a huge depth of knowledge about the Vikings - and a remarkable ability to communicate that knowledge. Great sense of humour, and enthusiasm about her subject, too. She’s an absolute gem and Viator are fortunate to have her services as a guide. A memorable day!

Our guide Quentin was very nice and knowledgable. The visit to the small old town was definitly our favourite and the lake nearby was beautiful. The tour is a bit overpriced however but maybe that's also due to the Stockholm area. Would recommend this if you're very interested in Vikings.
-
Informative excursion to some Viking historic sites. Our guide was an archaeologist who specialized in that period. Well done. Highly recommended. Certainly a must for all of those who know little about
Vikings and their impressive history and accomplishments. -
An excellent guide who knew his history and was also a really good communicator which made for a really excellent tour.

Let me start off by saying I was intrigued at what this tour would be possibly covering, as I wanted to learn more about Vikings while in Stockholm and the Nordic countries. My pickup was changed last minute to save time from my hotel to central station, which made sense and I was not mad about at all. They dropped me back off at my hotel at the end. The tour itself was average. For the amount of time that was taken we got back into Stockholm around 4pm, so its more than a half day FYI, i wish there was more stuff that was covered. Spending 45 minutes to walk around/free time in Sigtuna was basically just of a waste of time. Angus and Jonathan are both nice/cordial and will gladly answer any questions you might have at any point. In my opinon, there is just too much time driving around and free time at Sigtuna to make it worth a day of your trip.

Lovely day away from the city but not too far away and brushing up on some Nordic history. Our guide was Angus, he had extensive knowledge on everything viking related accompanied with a great sense of humor.
-
The guides were very good and knowledgeable, but the proportion of driving to the locations vs. the content at the locations was a bit lopsided. I wished more time was spent on Viking history.
-
Our tour guide Angus was a walking encyclopaedia/fountain/wikipedia of knowledge which was brilliant! Informative, interesting and a lot of fun! Caught a brilliant sunset in Sigtuna and learnt a lot about locsl history!
