Our tour with Charmaine was fantastic! She checked in with us the day before to make sure she had the correct pickup location, she was on time, and we were on our way. Since the weather was chillier than expected, she suggested we go to a different first vineyard Blaauwklippen, which is mostly indoors, rather than waiting outside early for the morning duck parade. After Blaauwklippen which was lovely!, we headed to Spier, where we got to meet some very friendly owls and eagles before our next wine tasting and then lunch at Eight Cafe. Unfortunately Meerlust was closed by the time we finished lunch, but we finished up at Vergenoegd and saw the afternoon duck parade as they headed home. Charmaine didn't have anything planned for the rest of the day, and when we mentioned we were thinking about hiking up one of the hills around Cape Town she offered to take us up Signal Hill and show us around. The weather was stunning, and we got some fantastic photos!

All told it was an excellent day. Charmaine was friendly and very knowledgeable, and we all had a ton of fun!
