You can't hear the commentary as it is drowned out by the German one on the PA When someone complained the driver pushed them off the bus

We had excellent value for money. The commentary in English was clear and erudite. The bus route provided us with a wonderful overview of Hamburg and we used this knowledge to plan two further days of sightseeing on foot and on the excellent local trains. Highly recommended.

Don’t bother if you are disabled or English. We tried to get on two buses. The first one said his disabled ramp did not work. The next bus was going to sell me tickets until he say my mother in law was on a disability scooter. Then he asked me if I was English and when I said yes he told me he didn’t have enough headphones for the audio tour. Clearly didn’t want the hassle of putting his ramp down and tried to blame it on my nationality. Not sure why a tourist bus can’t cater for tourists. Very poor

The day that we was going to use the service was the LGTB march, they cancelled the service and we couldnt use the service. and no money back.

Having already done a free walking tour, we used this bus to retrace our steps and to add other areas of the city. We took the first bus of the day from Hauptbahnhof, and it was 75% full on departure. Good weather allowed us to sit upstairs, and with the roof open that meant no masks required - downstairs they were compulsory. We got off a couple of times to visit areas we hadn't already seen, and each stop had a timetable so we could see the time for reboarding. The English commentary via a plug in is adequate, although the sound level of the German commentary means the English sound level has to be up high. A fair price for a day's transport, although that day is only 7 or 8 hours' maximum because of the scheduled times. For first-time visitors, a good way to learn a lot about this lovely city.

It was awful really. I was in most city tours in Europe Usa and Australia and they were all good, But this one was very bad in Hamburg . It was not possible to hear the audio-guide from the headphons, since the voice of the German guide was on all speakers of the bus very loud , and also saying much more than what was recorded on the audio-guide!!!! The driver’s answer was very rude and he did nothing!!!!!! So it was very difficult to hear the messages in the headphones. Consequntly it was the worst city tour that I have had ever.

One star is about 10 stars too many. This took our experience of customer service to new, all time lows. This was only a “hop on” bus, for they stopped only at stops where people were waiting to get on. Only after driving past a dozen stops, and approaching the one we wanted, were we told that you have to let the driver know, WHEN YOU GET ON, where you want to stop. The difficult part of that was that we didn’t even have a route map until we boarded (couldn’t find one online), and even then we had to ASK for one. The best part of our hop-on-hop-off experience was hopping off and then fending for ourselves on public transportation.

Good trip that takes you around Hamburg. Not really that much to see though, but it will get you around the important places as a tourist in Hamburg. A bit pricy, but I guess it's standard prices.

Bus did not stop at all stations on the map. English tour was sucky. Terrible value!! I would not recommend the bus. It was a waste of money!
