Ein Phantasialand der Gartenkultur. Eine kurzweilige Adresse mit spannenden Impressionen. Eintritt frei. Gepflegte Anlage. Nach Möglichkeit Tage mit geringen Besuch herausfinden. Sonst wird es anstrengend.

We found getting into the place v hard as there were no directions from the car park, so we walked a lot before we got in. The gardens, whilst they were well done on the whole, didn’t make us go wow, in fact we were somewhat underwhelmed

As a group of friends who met 50 years ago we like to meet each year and visit a part of New Zealand together. This time it was Hamilton. Our guided tour of the Gardens was a highlight of the weekend for all. 10 happy visitors well impressed with our guide, Carla. She has a great talent to inform and enthused that we really appreciated. Well done!

Great tour of the Te Parapara garden today. Even though we're regular visitors to the gardens, we still learned some new things. Knowledgeable guide and well-paced. Recommend!

Me and my family visited the Hamilton Gardens on a Sunday, to pass the time and to do the Te Parapara tour, which was for free. This is the Maori garden part of the venue, and the tour guide, James, did a really good job in explaining the different parta of this garden, along with some history about the first Maori settlers who lived in the area before it became a public garden. If you want to see more of this garden, I suggest that you book a tour, the tour guides are well equipped with knowledge not just about the plants but also about the history of the place.

This is a amazing place to go for a chill day out. Every time we are in Auckland we make the trip down to Hamilton to the gardens. This time we were able to enjoy several new gardens and that is one of the great things about the place they are always changing and improving it.

Have visited some amazing palatial gardens at Chateau Versaille & Chennancou in France , Schonnbrun Palace in Austria & The Alhambra in Grenada , Spain. I would rate the impressive Hamilton Gardens on par with these. It is a credit to the Council and great Hamilton Gardens staff who tend, curate, manage and lovingly spend there days looking after this great facility that is FREE to the public. I thoroughly enjoyed the 2 hour amble around the Rose and Enclosed gardens. If you are visiting Hamilton , whether your a local, kiwi or tourist , a must see & do whilst in Hamilton. Highly recommended, do not give out excellent ratings often, but well worthy of it

What a great way to explore and learn about the different themed gardens and history at Hamilton Gardens. Being local I've been lucky enough to explore and enjoy the gardens many times over the years.... doing the tour provided an opportunity to learn and discover so much more!

We had limited time so zipped through the themed gardens. Fabulous. All staff friendly, knowledgable and pleased to help. We visited in the middle of the winter and i would like to return in summertime when gardens are in full bloom. But still very worthwile seeing. There were 17 themed gardens. A interlinked. More under construction.
