Know More about this tour

We start in Lower Manhattan at the Staten Island Ferry Terminal, right where A.Ham stole (not really) the cannons. Using Lin-Manuel Miranda's 46 songs as your roadmap, from the title song "Alexander Hamilton" through to the finale "Who Lives, Who Dies, Who Tells Your Story" you explore the locations, lyrics and relationships of Hamilton.

The 20 stops include every major event in the play including,Fraunces Tavern (Aaron Burr, Sir, My Shot),Battery Park (Right Hand Man), Federal Reserve (Ten Duel Commandments), Thomas Jefferson's House (The Room Where It Happens), Bank of New York (Take a Break), Federal Hall (Cabinet Battles,Washington On Your Side) Golden Hill (Guns and Ships), Bowling Green (The Reynolds Pamphlet, It's Quiet Uptown) and Trinity Church (Best of Wives and Best of Women) and many more including Bonus Stops that highlight the places that Hamiltonfrequented that are not in the play.

You will learn the insidestory of his extramarital affair with Maria Reynolds, how he met George Washington, how Lin-Manuel Miranda came up with some of these amazing songs, some of Hamilton's "other duels", what really caused the Hamilton - Burr duel and why it turned out the way it did.

The tour lasts about 2.5hours, covers approximately1.75 miles. If you know the songs feel free to sing along, we love audience participation.

  • After reading the book and seeing the play I thought to myself “ someone should do a NY tour of all the places related to Hamilton’s life”. And lo and behold there is one. The tour wrapped the history and music from the play together. It was super interesting. Chaz was awesome and well informed.

  • AMAZING TOUR!! Everything we expected at a nice relaxing pace. It was interesting and entertaining all rolled into one.

  • We hade a fantastic time with our guide yesterday. Very interesting and entertaining way to learn about NY and early history. Our tour ali gave us insight to the musical Hamilton. A must for Hamilton entusiasts.

  • This was such a fantastic experience. I surprised my wife with this and then tickets to the actual show, so we hadn't actually seen the show before taking the tour - even though we were very familiar with the music. It was really amazing to walk in the footsteps of the history while listening to the tunes of the show and understanding what the lyrics meant. I couldn't find anything else like this experience when I was researching it online, so I highly recommend it! Chazz was a great tour guide and was able to answer my questions in advance of the tour as we had a tight schedule that day, and he was fun and did a great job explaining everything on the tour. 5 STARS!!

  • GREAT ---loved it

  • Outstanding --highly recommended

  • This was a fun, informative tour. It was only the 2 of us so we had a private tour! We learned a lot about Hamilton and the history of N.Y. Interspersed were clips of music from the show, Hamilton. We had earphones and a radio set so we could hear our guide and the music amongst the hustle bustle of the NY city streets. Only disappointment is we did not receive a copy of the picture our guide took of us... Otherwise, very enjoyable tour!

  • Originally we were sad that we had to schedule the tour after we had seen the play. It turned out that it was a good thing. Anyone going to
the play should think about doing the tour.

  • Tour was great, really informative and fun to get to listen to some of the Hamilton soundtrack while walking where the story took place. Guide was great !!!

  • Chazz was both knowledgable and entertaining. Highly recommended for the Hamilton fan.
