  The tour guide Sharon and driver Mr. Guo were great. They met us at the airport and then led us around for two days, showing us many sights. Sharon was very knowledgeable and had excellent English language skills. Mr. Guo was a very good driver under difficult conditions since so many people were visiting Hangzhou.

  There were a lot of things we wanted to pack into our brief stay in Hangzhou. "China Private Tour" helped us to customize the perfect high end itinerary - we saw everything we wanted to, and even more! The bullet train tickets were delivered on time, a driver picked us up at our hotel in Shanghai, and dropped us at the train station. Once in Hangzhou, we were welcomed by the charming and knowledgeable guide SHARON. Sharon was by far the best guide we had on our whole tour through China! Her English was perfect, and she went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, happy, and safe! She is a diamond! "China Private Tour" is definitely not a cheap company, but you also don't get a cheap service: this is expensive, but high end luxury travel :-)

  Our guide David is kind and very humorous guy. He know everything which we asked regarding Hangzhou history, culture, people and etc. he speaks English very well and considered route, food, further last our journey. Car was clean and his driving also calm. He recommended restaurant for lunch and it was good and very nice place. Hangzhou is not easy city you travel alone especially if you don’t speak Chinese. Try with David first and maybe last of journey will be easier. I definitely recommend this trip and also our guide David you will not disappointed. 가이드인 데이빗은 착하고 유머있는 사람이었습니다. 그는 항저우의 역사 문화 사람등에 대해 매우 잘 이해하고 알고있었고 영어도 능숙했기에 매우 편했습니다. 가이드 루트 뿐 아니라 식사장소 그리고 남은 개인 여행일정에 대해서도 조언해주어서 도움이되었습니다. 픽업차량은 넓고 깨끗하고 운전은 매우 얌전했습니다. 특히 항저우는 영어를 하는 사람이 드물고 관광지가 떨어져있기에 하루 정도는 투어서비스를 이용하는 것도 그만한 가치가 있습니다. 가이드였던 데이빗을 매우 추천합니다.

  We booked private half-day tour, our English speaking guide, Sharon, is very nice young lady... she explains in details ..... we visited all the places that were stated in the itinerary... no complain on the car and driver too, all gave us a satisfactory services.... One of the highlight was trying out home cooked dishes for lunch, a special arrangement by Sharon.....

  I saw more, learned more, and had a better time, during the one day we were showed around Hangzhou by our private tour guide, than all the other days in Hangzhou combined. This is really a good idea, especially if you are a westerner and have to deal with the language barrier. I can get around most countries without speaking the language, but China is different. Outside of hotels, you'll find almost no one who speaks anything other than Chinese and you won't be able to read many signs, etc. Our tour guide met us at the hotel, with a driver in a nice vehicle and took us to the places we were interested in. Just two of us, the guide and driver. Her name was Bonnie, and she spoke very good English, had a great attitude and I want to say a million thanks to her for the great job she did. I give this tour service my highest recommendation. 5+ stars.

  My private evening tour was excellent! Bonnie, my guide, was very knowledgeable not only about Hangzhou but all China. We had a delicious meal at a local restaurant, it was simple but really good and with wonderful samples of many local dishes. We drove around town and saw many sites in the city and saw a fantastic light show display on the buildings of the city. I definitely recommend this tour!

  We had a one day trip to Hangzhou last weekend. We had little time to visit the most important attractions in this city and we needed to make the best of our time. Our tour guide was Nancy, who did a great job on this tour. Since the beginning, they arrived very punctually and we started on time. The van provided was very suitable for us, with air conditioning. During the tour, we followed the schedule, visiting the West Lake, Lingyin Temple, Longjing Green Tea Plantation and Bamboo-lined path. The scenery is really incredible. You can have a mix of nature, history, food, culture, all at the same time in one day. In this case, our guide Nancy showed a lot of energy and knowledge during the tour. She provided detailed explanation of each place. In fact, Nancy was able to answer our questions related to the west lake and the monks' history and culture. Furthermore, we had lunch in a local house in the Green Tea Plantation. Having language barriers, Nancy helped us to understand and order the food, which was really really good (especially the chicken cooked with tea). Something to highlight was that during the tour day, Nancy provided advice and helped us to contact airline company since they cancelled our flight ticket for that night. In summary, I strongly recommend taking this tour, ask for Nancy as your tour guide. You will have an excellent experience and will have a lot of fun.

  Ottima la nostra guida Sharon che con un ottimo inglese e tanti contenuti culturali e turistici ci ha fatto vedere il meglio di Hangzhou in una giornata densa di visite interessanti. Non poteva andare meglio: ce ne siamo tornati a Shanghai in treno molto soddisfatti della bella giornata. Da non dimenticare anche un buon pranzo in un ristorante di cucina cinese tradizionale . Dal lago, siamo passati al tempio buddista e poi alle coltivazioni del tè verde per poi terminare con una bella camminata in centro città nella zona pedonale. Grazie Sharon!!

  Our guide Rebecca was waiting for us and ready to take us on tour of Hangzhou West Lake. We had 4 of us in the group and the private tour and information that Rebecca provided was excellent . Rebecca had recommended that we leave early 9am , to be able to get to the boat before the crowds and the heat . Thank goodness for her advice! We were able to walk right up to the boat center and boat ride and tour Westlake it prior to all of the crowds arriving. Along the way stunning view of Westlake and tons of picture we took . Rebecca bought us to famous Seven Villa for lunch .What a favourite spot LUNCH were delicious ! We had a great time and Rebecca was a wonderful tour guide. When we go back to Hangzhou , we would like to use Johnwu Private tour for a multi day tour of Hangzhou . I would highly recommend her if you want special and memorable days in Hangzhou .

  I was in Hangzhou during the last week of April and took a day tour around the City. The only problem i faced in Hangzhou was the communicating with the native people and with our guide, David, who was speaking fluent English, our outing turned out to be a great experience. He took us around the West lake area, boating in West lake, Bamboo forest, temples, tea estate and Hangzho's shopping area. He also had taken us for a nice lunch at the local farmer's hotel, Overall was a very great experience and I highly recommend him for future tours. Thanks
