Know More about this tour

Our tour guide will meet you at hotel located in Hanoi Old Quarter.
Long Bien Bridge was the longest bridge in Asia when it was built from 1899 to 1902. Known as the oldest bridge in Hanoi that is still living and sharing the daily life with Hanoians silently. At this stop, while you can take some time to enjoy the view and take pictures, our tour guide will also introduce the history of the bridge as well as details about the life of locals from 2 sides of it.After that, we will pass through the famous Chuong Duong Bridge - the four-lane, steel span bridge’s claim to fame is that it was the first sizeable bridge designed and built by Vietnamese workers, with no international assistance.
Hanoi Opera House is a project built by the French government in the early years of the 20th century. While you’re enjoying the very famous Trang Tien’s Ice cream, we’ll tell you all about its unique structure with the outstanding values in terms of history, culture, architecture and art.
Lying in the centre of Hanoi‘s historic district, Hoan Kiem Lake is a lovely, peaceful place with a fascinating history. In 1428, legend has it that Emperor Le Loi obtained a magical sword from the Dragon King to fight against Chinese oppressors. The sword, as you may have guessed, came from Hoan Kiem lake.At this stop, we will have a chance to see “Ly Thai To Monument”. This is a cultural and architectural work which aims to honour King Ly Thai To (974 – 1028). He is the first king who found Capital Citadel of Thang Long (Hanoi today).
Next stop, Saint Joseph Cathedral, located at 40 Nha Chung street, Hanoi, is a Roman Catholic cathedral with neo- gothic style, which was built about 120 years ago.Construction began in 1886, with the architectural style described as resembling Notre Dame de Paris. The church was one of the first structures built by the French colonial government in Indochina when it opened in December 1886.
Trust me! You are not going to believe what you are about to see.Hỏa Lò Prison was a prison used by the French colonists in French Indochina for political prisoners, and later by North Vietnam for U.S. prisoners of war during the Vietnam War. The French called it Maison Central, a generic name for a colonial prison. Whatever its name, the notorious prison housed a century of torture within its walls.
West Lake is known as Hanoi’s largest freshwater lake. It’s a huge body of water – it has a circumference of 17km – and there are plenty of historic places of interest, five-star hotels, stylish restaurants, cafes, and nightlife venues that are worth exploring along the shoreline. The West Lake is bordered by several significant pagodas. Vietnam’s oldest pagoda, Tran Quoc pagoda, was built in the 6th century and is located on an island in the middle of the West Lake.On this tour, Tran Quoc Pagoda is one of the places that cannot be missed.
Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is the final resting place of Ho Chi Minh, the most iconic and popular leader of Vietnam, known to his people as ‘Uncle Ho’. His body is preserved here in a glass case at the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum in central Hanoi. At this stop, while you can take some time to see the attraction from outside and take pictures, our tour guide will fill you in with more stories about our Uncle Ho & the historical information. Note: Please keep in mind that we do not go inside the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum on “Hanoi City sights and street food”tour. The motorbike tour was our teens favorite activity during our 7 day stay in Vietnam and top on all of our lists. All the activities provided by this company were spot on. We also went to Ninh Binh, Sapa, and Halong Bay and enjoyed every location. You can’t go wrong with Best Price Travel. We had tour guides and drivers to help us navigate around which helped with language barriers and just made the trip enjoyable and stress free.

My wife and I had an excellent half day scooting around Hanoi the best way possible. We were met by our biker guides, Mr Tom and Ms. Jane- clearly their English psydonym's as they are well spoken Vietnamese guides. The tour was excatly as set out however, we adjusted a little as we are fmailiar with Hoan Kiem area but added the off road slums down from the railway bridge. Lunch with local Bun Cha was excellent and the egg coffee, well- different. I recommend this tour highly. Enjoy!

The three of us signed up for a 2 week group tour of Vietnam and decided to extend our stay at the end in Hanoi by 1 day. Wanting to make the most of our time we decided to take a scooter tour of the city and booked several weeks earlier with BestPrice Travel. We chose the Hanoi Half Day City Tour by motorbike. The company quickly responded to our inquiries and the payment process was simple. They asked if we had any special diet requirements (as lunch was included). The 3 young women and a male guide met us at the appointed time at our hotel. As we had already seen some of the city's sites with our large group tour, the guide was able to make a slight adjustment to the itinerary to avoid revisiting the same places and this was very much appreciated. The 3 young ladies were not only excellent drivers but were delightful and we enjoyed speaking with them. Our guide gave us information on the different places we visited and answered our questions about Vietnamese traditions. We were able to taste some very good snacks, had a nice lunch at a restaurant overlooking the Red River, and were able to taste the famous Hanoi egg coffee in a well-known café (delicious). As we had taken other scooter tours at the beginning of our trip, when we arrived in Saigon, we quickly realized that this is the best way to see the cities. And although we are 'mature' women we had no problems getting on/off the scooters and fully enjoyed the experience. We recommend this city tour to get a feel for the city like a local!

When I visit countries I very much like to see the "real" side of the country. The motor bike tour suited me because I saw places in Hanoi one would never have access to from a bus or a car. I was timeously picked up from my hotel by my guide. At first I was a little worried about riding on the back of a motor bike given the hectic traffic in Hanoi but my guide was quick to reassure me that everything would be fine. I was taken to many places eg. the BLACK MARKET, the ALLEYS where people live in small houses etc. We even rode down a flight of stairs to the banks of the RED RIVER where we rode through farmlands where people lived on floating houses on the river. We the connected to the main road and came into the city of Hanoi. We sat at a local pub and had the locally brewed beer. The guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. It was a fascinating experience overall, one I would never forget.

The girls from Paloma motorbike tours are great. All really friendly and nice to be with. Good selection of places to visit, plenty of "off the beaten track" things to see and the street food at the end was great. Thoroughly recommend the tour and Thompson from Best Price was attentive throughout.

My friend and I had absolutely brilliant experience with BestTravel, we did couple of tours and I believe we will do couple more. The motorbike tour was one of them, we had a driver / guide each who took us around the city on the moped. Tom and Tracy are very skilled drivers and we felt incredibly safe, I dare to even say that I felt safer on the bike than just walking around. Their extensive history knowledge gave us brilliant insight into the Vietnamese culture and its customs. They were both super friendly and had very good English and patiently answered our never ending flow of questions, took great pictures and shared their personal views. We stopped for a coffee as well as lunch where we had a chance to try a few different dishes from different shops, finished off with a variety of desserts. Great choice of street food vendors tailored to our taste and based on what we have tried already or not. I can only recommend this tour as it is a great value for money and really great fun.

My children(20, 15) and I did this tour. It was fabulous. You get to see so much on the back of the bike. I was initially nervous about us all going on the motorbikes, but our riders were very safe, and I felt comfortable on the back of the bike. My children really enjoyed it too. If you are thinking about doing this tour, its certainly worth it. The food we tried at various places was delicious. I tried food that I probably wouldn't have tried. My son who isn't very adventurous tried all the food. Our guide Linh was funny, informative and friendly.

My sister and I toured through Vietnam and Cambodia with BestPrice. Everything was really well organised which made our holiday all the more enjoyable. The transport was quite good, mostly we were picked up in cars. The motorbike tour in Hanoi was definitely a highlight of the trip. Our guides were friendly and loved a chat and we learned lots. Vana, our tour agent, was fabulous! She was always happy to answer any questions and help in any way possible. Nothing was too difficult - even when I left my iPad on a bus, she phoned the driver and arranged for it to be couriered to my hotel. She's amazing!! I highly recommend BestPrice Travel!

We booked our 15 day Vietnam and Cambodia Tour with Best Price Travel and right from the start Vana was extremely helpful and efficient. My sister and I thoroughly enjoyed the whole trip. We were looked after everywhere we went and it felt like we were VIPs!! At every airport we were met by a guide who would take us to our hotel and give us an introduction to the city. Normally this guide would be the same person to take us on any tour we went on that day as well. We did the half day tour by motorbike (Paloma Motorbike Tours) and had lunch with our guide Thanh and our drivers. Thanh was extremely knowledgeable about Hanoi and we were able to understand him very easily. He was very nice, funny and easy to get along with. Our drivers were very good and we never felt unsafe with them. They would ensure that we were comfortable and had the necessary safety equipment. The place we had lunch at was amazing. Thanh was very patient in teaching us how to correctly eat our meal and what combinations of foods was most delicious. Our travel agent Vana made everything so easy for us. Whenever we had an issue she was quick to solve it for us and every few days she would check in to see how we were going with our tour or if we were ok with our flight. I highly recommend if anyone hasn't gone to Vietnam before but is looking to, that they book with Best Price Travel. It was a cost efficient option but it felt like 5 stars the whole time.
