We had a such a great time. Jenny is so much fun and is a great tour guide. We experienced so much delicious food. Highly recommended!!

Jenny, our guide, gave us an experience that we will cherish and remember as one of the hghlights of our stay in Hanoi. She did not only show us the best places for traditional vietnamese food in the old quarters, but also thought us about the culture and life in Hanoi. Before the tour started, we were a bit worried that we would get sick after trying the street food, but our fear quickly dissolved. Jenny is polite, watches out for hygiene and will give all the tipps and tricks that you need to enjoy vietnamese street food to the fullest. We highly recommend a tour with Jenny through the old quarters. If you're unsure about, just do it. You won't regret it.

Alex and Aimee were great guides! They went out of their way to customize our tour to be vegetarian and taught us a lot about Vietnamese history and culture. I would definitely recommend this tour for those unfamiliar with Vietnamese cuisine. We were familiar with it but still tried so many new things and learned a lot! Make sure you have an empty stomach beforehand!

jenny was such a friendly and natural guide, and we loved ALL the places she brought us to. we especially appreciated how she did not just bring us to places for our tummies, there was food for thought as well as she tried to show us the parts of old quarter tourists rarely see. overall, highly recommended - do ask for jenny if possible, she’s an amazing guide!
-
I went with my guide Mạnh on a tour of the French Quarter. There was a lot of walking involved. I especially enjoyed the Ha Lao prison, he was quite informed about the history there.
-
Our favorite part about this trip with Jenny was that we let her bring us everywhere she felt like a traveller couldn’t miss on the dish, everything was amazing it was hard to pick a favorite, while we were touring around she explained to us how people live in the old quarter and brought us to places she grew up in and made us eat like locals, such a unique experience. She paved the way for us to try to experience more tours like this, Jenny was awesome. She talks english very well too! Thank you!

I had a great time with my guide Manh. It was my first day in Vietnam, but he welcomed me and made me feel comfortable. We had some nice conversations as well, so it’s a great chance to interact with locals. He took us to a lesser known part of the city, but that made for a more authentic experience. Overall, I highly recommend this, especially if you travel solo.

Our guides for the evening street food tour is Alex and Mai. We went to a total of 6 places for food. At every stop Alex explained the background and history of the food as well as how best to enjoy the food. Other than assisting to order the food, he also helped with confirming the order and the total price so as to ensure that we weren’t overcharged. My family had an enjoyable evening and we ended with happy tummies as well. Great job done by Alex and Mai!
