We wanted to compliment our wonderful guide Ludia ( I Hope that the name Is correct). She was perfect and thanks to her we were able to understand the history of Harlem and its people. She was professional and funny at the same time and we wanted to thank her!

Very few details on Harlem story and very short walk in the streets. We would have seen and learned more ourselves. The gospel church was overcrowded with touristes.

A round of applause to our great guide of the Enlgish spoken tour on Sunday morning 07/23 (SORRY, I do not remember her name) for her passion (she does moaster the story-telling techniques: I am a teacher and learnt a lot from her), her dynamic attitude (... and her wonderful accent too), Marco M. we did the Harlem tour with Gospel experience, Our guide was amazing, very knowledgeable and engaging. He passed on to everyone the passion for what he told about the population of Harlem from the origin of New York to today. Afterwards we were accompanied to the Salem United Methodist Church to attend Mass with Gospel songs. experience to do even if the judgments in the family were conflicting between the real and the fake. The feeling that local practitioners may be annoyed by the invasion of tourists into their churches. Being a prayer time might be justified. The Gospel choir is very good.
