Know More about this tour

There are two possible routes that your Paris bike tour may take, the Marais area or the Latin Quarter.

Taking a long ride through the ancient districts of the Marais you will first arrive in front of the colorful Centre Pompidou. The Pompidou has amazed and delighted visitors since it was inaugurated in 1977, not just for its outstanding collection of modern art but for its radical architectural statement.

Leaving the Centre Pompidou, you will cross Les Halles and Palais Royal, heading for the Louvre Museum and Seine River ending with a glance at the Gothic Cathedral of Notre Dame.

The Latin Quarter and St Germain are often associated with the cultural and artistic life of Paris. Cross the Latin quarter and the Luxembourg Gardens which are popular with Parisians during the warmer weather with its formal terraces and chestnut groves covering an area of 23 hectares. Continue through the chic streets of St Germain-des-Pres home to the Paris fashion industry as well as bookshops, art galleries, antique dealers and interior design boutiques. Your tour will conclude at the ancient roman site of Arenes de Lutece, once a Roman ampitheatre seating around 10, 000 spectators for gladiatorial combats and other events.

Your guide on the day will choose the best itinerary from the above routes based on traffic conditions, group preferences and weather. There may be more than one itinerary available depending on number of participants on the day.

  • great thanks!

  • Edith was excellent. Highly rate the tour.

  • Amazing experience! Our tour guide, Alec, took us to so many parts of the city, which gave us a great overview of Paris. We learned an impressive amount about the city and its landmarks. Highly recommend this tour.

  • My daughter and I signed up for seven tours during our 18 day European visit and enjoyed all that we attended. However, without a doubt, this was my daughter and #39;s favorite tour. Our tour guide was not only knowledgeable, but entertaining. He did an excellent job speaking in both French and English.

  • An unexpexed change of plan anniversary of Charlie Hebdo resulted in a change of route to the south of the city. Change was handled efficiently by Viator staff and we were happy with the new route. Excellent tour, friendly and informed briefing by guide. Very happy with event.

  • Cultural tour of the city, lots of background info, not a lot of the big interesting sites

  • Loved it ! My wife says it was her favorite as we saw Paris in a way we would otherwise not have seen.

  • Really good tour, really good guide. Great way to get a historical overview/perspective and orientated around central Paris early in our stay. Had the confidence to use the Paris Bikes throughout the week following the tour. Highly recommended.

  • Amazing fun bike tour! We biked to central Paris and the bikes were easy to ride. We would stop a few times an hour and the tour guide would give us the history of where we stopped. We also had a bicycle guard (he would ride behind the last person in the tour to make sure they made it) and he would watch the bikes when we took lunch. The 3 hours flew by so fast and we were not the least bit tired, after all we did bike for a few hours. I highly recommend this bike tour to anyone that wants to see the hidden spots of Paris.

  • This was a pleasant bike ride through the backstreets of Paris. You really get a feel for the real Paris, in contrast to the tourist side of the city. The tour guide was very informative and spoke great English.
She actually gave the information in French and English, as our group was both. The weather was a
bit drizzly, but didn't mind it, as the city is so intriguing in any weather. I only gave 4 stars, as I thought we could have gone to more places int the allotted time. Good value for the money though and the greatest way to see any city, is to bike it!
