  • great experience. it was unexpectedly big boat and we saw many islands and Helsinki area which are only visible from the sea. it was nice experience especially view of Helsinki from the sea is impressive!
    not to be missed

  • boring

  • Great way to see Helsinki from the water.
Sit on the upper deck but grab a blanket as it gets very cold!

  • We booked the canal tour and were glad to have done so. The views are impressive, the boat is comfortable and I believe we have seen more of Helsinki and experienced this city deeper and better this way. Helsinki itself is small, but the landscape and surroundings are big and impressive.

  • A very good boat tour of the greater Helsinki islands. Clean well maintained boats. Upper observation deck with seats and a lower enclosed cafeteria area with table seating. A taped narrative throughout the tour. Impersonal.

  • This tour is a misnommer, as it is mainly just around the islands outside Helsinki. I loved the Venice and Amsterdam canals, and it was canals I was expecting.

  • Good views of Helsinki from the water.
Commentary is broadcast through loud speakers in five languages, so other tourists tend to talk during your language.
90 minutes was the right length for the tour.
It is always cooler on the water, so take a coat!

  • This was the best activity for our one-day excursion from Estonia to Helsinki.
We bought our tickets via the phone from Helsinki calling back to the US. The lady was very helpful from selecting the time to ensuring us getting to the dock.
The tour operator allowed us to board the cruise even though our scheduled boarding time was an hour to go. This effectively gave us a much warmer cruise on the canals as well an extra full hour to enjoy Helsinki.

Strongly recommended for those who love the views of cities from water.

  • This sightseeing cruise has nothing to do with canals and not much to do with the city of Helsinki itself. This cruise is more a tour of the islands around Helsinki. The boat was comfortable, staff was friendly, and plenty of narrative about apartment complexes and beaches to accompany the trip, but it was literally a cruise of the islands. Not much to do with Helsinki at all.

  • This was well worth the money.
Having pre-booked made the boarding process on the pier extremely simple.
There isn't a great deal of substance to see on the trip but the commentary provided is very informative and the scenery fantastic.
