Know More about this tour

This is an extraordinary guided tour of the Minor Venice to experience a more genuine side of the city... Thanks to its unusual itinerary, you will be able to explore some of the citys most beautiful sights, usually not included in the regular tours of Venice.

You will meander through the historical heart of Venice in the company of an experienced guide, who will provide you with key information and curious anecdotes about the long history of the city. You will have the chance to see the exteriors of famous architectural masterpieces such as La Fenice Opera House and the Rialto bridge.

Starting near St. mark's square, the tour will reach La Fenice - the major opera house in Venice, sadly notorious for being destroyed by fire - to let you admire its classical exteriors; the itinerary will then continue to Palazzo Contarini del Bovolo, a great example of Gothic architecture. This elegant palace is famous for the original external staircase... Not easily to find on your own, this building is one of the most appreciated sights of our tour!

The guided walk will end at the Rialto Bridge, a superb example of Venetian engineering which dates back to 16th century.

Do not miss the opportunity to get in touch with the soul of Venice! Book now this fascinating tour and enjoy some of the lesser-known areas of Venice!

They do not tell you which vaporetto stop or give helpful information. It took us over 1 hr to travel from within city and missed tour. It is so lazy to not give the simplest help such as this and would have made a huge difference. One of our party became ill while travelling to the church. Just terrible. Would not recommend

We all thought this was great! We learned so much and wandered around parts of the city that we otherwise would not have. Our guide was friendly and super knowledgable. I would recommend doing this to get a good knowledge base for your explorations of Venice. Our guides restaurant recommendations were also great. :)

We’d decided to venture outside the normal tourist spots and we were not disappointed. Our tour guide was exceptionally knowledgeable, interesting and open to answering our frequent questions. The tour was just about the right length of time and at the end we were filled with new stories and adventures. Would thoroughly recommend.

We really enjoyed this tour. Enrico was knowledgeable and entertaining. ( and his English was excellent. ) it was really enjoyable wandering around the quieter parts of Venice and discovering so many interesting facts and a great deal of trivia about the history of the city. A great way to spend our first morning in this beautiful city. Really excellent value for money. If you try it I’m sure you would enjoy it.

Fantastic, knowledgable and friendly tour guide. Spoke perfect English and showed us small details of Venice that we’d otherwise have missed!

We thoroughly enjoyed the walking tour. Fascinated by all the quiet alley ways. Beautiful buildings in hidden alleys. Will definitely recommend this tour to family and friends visiting Venice

The disappointment came from two things: the guide was a bit dull and we thought the tour included the opportunity to climb the Scala Contarini which it didn't - although the tour passed the tower. We left the tour at that point and bought our tickets for the Scala, which was well worth it.

The tour started 15 minutes late due to people showing up exactly when the tour was supposed to be leaving. So we had to deal when them getting headsets, and of course one of the headsets didn't work. So, instead of leaving at 3:45 pm we left at 4 pm. No biggie, we're on holiday and I didn't have anything else planned for the day. The tour consisted of the standard highlights of Venice. A regular tour would have had a similar itinerary. There were no off-beat sights as advertised. I was disappointed in what we were shown, and even more disappointed when we came back before 5pm. So the tour ended up being less than an hour in length. This is a generic large-group walking tour that is 1 hour in duration.
