Then reach Tijuca forest - drive inside this lush Forest to reach the top and stop at Paineiras to board the vehicles of the National Park Authority. The visit to the monument lasts around 45 minutes. After this stunning view up there and a visit Christ Redeemer, continue your tour getting down inside the forest to the stadium, see the panoramic view of Maracan Stadium to get some pictures.
Next is Sambdromo -The place where the citys main Carnival parade takes place. On way to the Cathedral you will get a panoramic view of the bohemian neighborhood Lapa. The next visit is Selarn. This staircase connects the bohemian neighborhood of Lapa to the artistic district of Santa Teresa. After, you will have time for lunch at a Brazilian restaurant in Copacabana,around 1 hour approximately.
Once you finish your lunch, you will go to the centenary Sugar Loaf cable-car station (the first service in South America and the worlds third oldest). On the way, you will see the Yacht Club, Institute Benjamim Constant, and the National Institute for Mineral Resources. Once inside the complex, you will board in the cable car to Urca Hill (200m) and then Sugar Loaf (395m) and stay around 20 minutes at the top of Sugar Loaf to enjoy the most stunning view of Rio de janeiro. Up here you can get a bird's eye view of Rio, Guanabara Bay, the city of Niteroi and the blue waters of the Atlantic Ocean.
