Know More about this tour

Depart for Siena, driving through the lovely Chianti vineyards, getting there while the town is still immersed in early morning drowsiness; the perfect time of day to wander around the pedestrian-friendly heart of this beautiful hilltop town, drenched in history.

Upon arrival in Siena our local guide will take you on a guided walking tour along the small medieval streets and squares, passing the oldest bank in the world, and the Piazza del Campo - site of the famous 600-year-old Palio horse-race, to the spectacular Cathedral. During your free time, stroll through Siena at your own pace. A short journey then takes us to a family run wine-farm in the heart of the Tuscan countryside. Here we shall have a delicious, traditional Tuscan lunch served with two typical wines from our region. After lunch, departure for San Gimignano, Unesco world heritage, famous for the still intact mediaeval town planning. It is often nicknamed the Manhattan of the Middle Ages because its famous tall, narrow towers create a skyline that looks a bit like a modern city.

Here you have free time to explore the town centre, the charming craftsmens shops along the cobbled stone streets and small squares.
From San Gimignano, we drive past hilltop hamlets, or little churches, scattered over some of the most beautiful and enchanting countryside. We finally wind down the hillsides towards the coast, to Pisa, our last destination for the day. Getting off the coach, we reach the Field of Miracles, a green grass field dominated by the dazzling white buildings of the Cathedral or Duomo, the Tower and the Baptistery - exquisite examples of Pisan Romanesque architecture: the Leaning Tower is almost 56 meters tall (about 183 ft). It leans at about 4 degrees, making it one of the most famous and iconic buildings in the world. You are in one of the most renowned places in the world: revel in it, take creative photographs or wander off down the local streets.

  • So worth it! The tour was long but every stop was beautiful. Such a great way to experience Florence! The bus ride was a little bumpy many turns and hills, but lunch in a chianti wine cellar was my favorite part! The food and wine was delicious. Our tour guide was great! He showed us all the great views in the different stops. Definitely eat breakfast before going since you cannot eat on the bus.

  • It was a huge group and we were told that since there are only few English speaking tour mates, we wouldnt need any audio ear piece as we can listen directly from the local guide. However, while some of us are trying to take pic along the way, we literally missed out what was being told by the tour guide and end up totally switched off. We had joined other similar tour, we were able to listen and take pictures at the same time.

Another issue is the drop off area from the places that visited were quite a distance away too.

  • Not the fault of our guides, but the group was just too big! We were covering so much territory that our time in eat place was limited, so when someone gets back late and slows the whole group down...it really impacts the rest of the trip for all. Good value, but too large a group.

  • great way to get a taste of tuscany without driving. The included walking tour in Siena was nice- church there is beautiful. San Gimignano was my favorite for scenery and a great gelato place. The food/wine tasting was alright. Not much to do in Pisa because by the time we got there, the free tickets into some of the places were sold out.

  • This tour was more like a taxi service. We had 77 people on this tour. While the two tour guides well very polite and nice there is only so much they could do. The lunch was horrible! Take this tour if you want the convenience of transportation.

  • Great day, great way to see the best of the Tuscany area in one day, highly recommend

  • Lisa the tour guide was great! This tour was amazing!

  • Excellent Tour. A long day but worth it. The guide for the overall tour wasn't that informative. The Guide in Siena was excellent. Lunch was great and purchased 3 bottles of wine from the Winery. Great Chianti. Great way to see the outstanding scenery of Tuscany.

  • THE TOUR WAS VERY ENJOYABLE, THOROUGH AND ORGANIZED, HIGHLY RECCOMMEND

  • Highly recommended. You get to see a lot in a day. We really enjoyed the tour and had a great guide.

Highly recommended. You get to see a lot in a day. We could not have done this ourselves. It was very well organised and worth the money. Also had a great guide. Would have loved to spend more time in Sienna as it is so beautiful.
